I'm planning on starting NROLFW next Monday so I know that'll really really slow down my weight loss, which has already slowed down tremendously. But even with that said I'm hoping to lose 4 pounds, which is what I lost in May.

Hello Ladies, I am in desperate need of control and accountability....I have been off track for the past several months ( almost a year). I have gained about 25 pounds due to attending school, working night shift, changing jobs,and attending to dying family members. I feel sooooo out of control. So I am coming back to what worked for me in the past june weight loss and exercise challenge. For June My weight loss goals are to check in daily (except the 1st and second when I won't have computer access). I also want to lose 5 pounds in June. Good luck to everyone this month!!!!!

This is a great challenge to join!
I hope to lose 1 pound a week...4 pounds by the end of this challenge.
I am recovering from a back injury, so can't do much exercises...just stretches for now.
I'm trying to keep my calories under 1300 a day.

My original plan back on December 31, 2012 was to be a flat 160 by June 30. After this wretched month of May I can only hope to break into the 160's by the end of the month. I've got to tell you, I'm very frustrated and unhappy at the moment. I wanted to start IVF at the end of June, that's why I wanted to be 160...I'm just mad that that's just not going to happen.

We're heading to London in July for my daughter's 16th bday, so I'm looking to lose some weight before then. My goal is 10 lbs for the month of June. I've been stuck in the 190-195 area for about 6 months and need something to push me over the hump. I'm going to try to log on and update my weight loss daily. Maybe that will keep me motivated...

Thanks Sum! Since last night was a Saturday I had two of my usual (Green Flash Palate Wrecker) and a third (Green Flash West Coast IPA).

I'm guessing the third beer gave me a boost! I'm doing good again right now, weighing the same this evening as at my morning weigh in. That means another loss is on the way!

I will get a gain on Tuesday though. I always gain then. So I'd best lose as much as I can before then!

Last month was not a great month for me & I actually ended up higher than I started. By a lot! I know some of that is due to TOM, but I just hate seeing the scale over 170 when I worked so hard to get down.

My goal for this month is a little large, but I think I'm still up a little from TOM.

6/6 144.8 (After doing some research, I started the Metabolic Research Center diet on my own yesterday and it seems to be working and I wasn't starving the whole day like I have been all the rest!!)
6/7 143.2 (It's weird if I weigh my self when I first roll out of bed my weight is the same but if I wait an hour or so and weigh again it goes down, it happens quite a lot.....does that happen to anyone else?)
6/8 142 (Yeah! this the best diet every I usually can NEVER lose weight no matter what I try!)
6/9 142.2 (I did eat a little more of the food on the list yesterday b/c I was hungrier and I was surrounded by popcorn and
pizza that others were eating, but at least I didn't eat the pizza/popcorn)
6/10 142.2 (skipped breakfast yesterday morning and it didn't help)
6/11 142.2 (stuck, decided to take a break with a high protein and fat day with no carbs/sugar and I lifted weights and walked
a little)

a good decision when your starving)

I am on a Metabolic Research Center program. There is a MRC category on here too. I have been on their plan since March 7th and I am at 29.5 pounds lost. My original goal was 50 pounds by June 24th and I'm behind on my goal. I am running & doing a squat challenge too.

Well it is my official weigh in.... down 1.5 lbs. I was hoping for more...but I'll take it. I'm officially in the 170s. I feel like I should be more excited. I think I'm hitting a slight plateau. I am doing the squat challenge though and I like it. *sigh*
I don't know....just kinda blah today.

Wow! Those scales seem to be dropping every day for most of you!

I'm so jealous, my scale seems to be up & down like crazy. Although so far this month it's only been down down down. Woohoo! But I knew my June 1st WI was bull because of TOM. I'm now back down to 167.4, which is still up from where I started last month. But I think I still have a little more water weight to go.

I swear the last few months my weight has jumped up by almost 10 pounds for TOM & is so slow to come back down. Does anyone else have this problem? It used to be 3-4 pounds & down right away, so I'm reallly not liking to see these huge spikes.

Other than that, my food has been 100%, but now I'm off on my exercise. One of these days I'll manage to get both together at the same time. :)

Keep up the great work everyone. I can't say ladies any more because I don't want to leave Ian out!

Ian: you may be up a bit this morning, but you've done really well since June 1. Sum and Aglee: you've done great so far in June too. kandd: Can't help you with TOM, since that's a TOTP (thing of the past!) for me, given my age. All I can advise you is to lose the weight now, because once you pass menopause, it will be a lot harder. And a great day to those I've missed!

I was pleased to see a drop this morning. I think I will set a new mini goal later today, since I'm starting to feel like I've now really made it to the 160's (fingers crossed):

No weigh-in for me this am. -- TMI alert for poor Ian ( I bet you know far more about women and their cycles because of 3FC's) :D -- Anycase ovulation is here and I woke up all bloated. My rings are super tight and they have been slipping off within the past week. So I skipped my scale session; why make myself miserable when it is just bloat?

Kim I gain during ovulation (upto 5 pounds) and usually maintain during TOM. I wonder if it has to do something with peri menopause?

I'm thrilled that I returned from France still in my maintenance range. But I know from a previous trip abroad, that the real danger is the next couple of weeks of fatigue, catch-up, and the general malaise of having a big trip behind me rather than ahead of me. So, to counteract all of that, my goal is to get back down to the low end of my maintenance range by the end of June, losing at least 1 kg.

I think this stupid ( well it's not stupid- just tough) squat challenge is bulking me up or something because I've been super consistent with my exercise- and no drop...oh well... it will happen eventually and plus, I really like the way my legs feel.
I'll weigh in next Tuesday.

Yeah! I lost two pounds! Only 8 more to go. I'm a night snacker, but I've been making sure to go to my room by 9 pm every night. As long as I'm away from the kitchen I don't eat as much. Hopefully this continues to help!

Well I was soooo exhausted last night...I crashed at 7:30...work has been kickin my butt this week. I think it finally caught up to me. So I didn't exercise and I had a piece of banana strawberry pound cake..yum!! But also 290 cals..YIKES!!

So no loss for me today... That's ok. I think I needed the rest. 100 squats today though!

Woot woot- TGIF!! Looking forward to the weekend!

Still holding at 188. Better than gaining I guess. Have had a migraine for the past 3 days, so I've been unable to workout. Plus, I found out the job at the school where I work that I applied for ....I didn't get it. That was stressful. So now I'm looking for a job anywhere on the eastern seaboard, from NC up to Maine. Not looking forward to moving with three teenagers, but I can't stay here. I think I've applied to about 40 schools so far!

Slow going for me too this morning...a 1/4 lb loss, but at least it's in the right direction. Ajlee, I have heard good things about the Eatsmart scale, although I don't have one. My scale is extremely accurate, but not cheap. Mine is one of those manual scales you find in doctors' offices with the sliding weights. I think I paid about $200 for it, but that was 25 years ago. I imagine I've had my money's worth over the years...and it never needs batteries!

I am so excited this morning. I've finally gotten out of the 190's! I've been there all year and with a recent leg injury, I didn't think I would be able to do it without exercise. However, the small changes in my diet seemed to help. I hope to lose another 2 - 5 pounds this month doing what I've been doing which includes TONS of water, no refined sugar, no bread, no fruit after lunch and staying with veggies and protein for both lunch and dinner. Keeping my fingers crossed!

A minor blip this morning, with a 0.25 lb gain, although that's better than expected considering I had a client dinner last night. I tried to stick to plan, but my choices were limited. I just chose the best of what was available, which still wasn't as healthy as I'm used to. So, I can't complain about the 0.25.

I hope you're number still begins with a "1", Ian...and congrats once again!

You might be due a gain, Ian, but I think you're now firmly in ONE-derland, so even after a gain (if any) the scales should still start with a "1". I don't expect another whoosh for a few weeks. The whoosh fairy only visits me every 2 or 3 weeks. At my age (55), the weight is super-glued on.

A slight loss this morning. I'm now off to visit my parents for a couple of days, so my next weigh-in won't happen until Wednesday.

No change yet again this morning, and I ended up 1 lb shy of my June goal. Still, an 8 lb loss is nothing to complain about...and I know I look and feel better today than I did on June 1. Here's hoping for even more luck in July!
