Ok, everyone. Let's stay committed over the weekend and see if we can have another winner early next week.

A 5 lbs loss is our goal. Let's do it together!

IanG: Too funny that you and Sue are "linked"! That cracked me up this morning! I'm glad the scale is moving in the right direction for you again!

Sue: You predicted it and it was true! Can you predict me a winner again, say, on Monday? lol! Since you were talking about Disney W I noticed you live near Central FL. I grew up down there, in Winter Park, and my uncle lived over nearer the east coast, in Deltona.

Lulu: I think you're right about the indulgences - they are part of life and it's about "enjoying the journey", as you said. But between Feb and April, my indulgences were coming at the rate of one or two full off-plan meals each weekend. Not "just a bite" of this or that. I was rationalizing that the slightest thing would throw me out of ketosis, so I better go out with a bang and "get back to it on Monday". All in the name of enjoying the journey. So something had to give.

But enough about that... what's next for you, now that you've reached Onderland?

Like I was saying to Lulu, I refocused myself on my goal this month, after having a rock bottom experience (http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/300-club/281177-re-introduction-rock-bottom.html) while my husband and I were away on our honeymoon.

Still, I don't expect perfection out of myself. One of my guests brought homemade peanut butter cups, so you better believe I tried one. I also made honey mustard dip, so I tasted it with one pretzel. But I also drank a lot of water, and ate tons of veggies with buffalo chicken dip/cheese dip.

I was pretty surprised by my weight, this morning. When I finally got to bed last night, I felt really bloated and icky. I was so sure I was going to be up a little bit. Guess I was wrong.

Weekends tend to suck for my water intake - let's see if I can do better than usual!

SW 267 I am glad I can use today's as I feel a BIG swoosh today and tonight. DISNEY was HOT HOT HOT & Humid and we had a BIG TIME thunderstorm and it followed me all the way home and I hate driving in rain when you can't distinguish the side of the road and the rain ... scaarrrrryyyyy so my adrenalin was pumping... :) Almost bumped into Peter Noone (how about that Ian) he was in Disney as part of the summer flower concerts and he came into ESPN zone with his ear buds on and grabbed my shoulder to let me know he wanted to get by to the back part of the restaurant... Too Cool and Weiland (painter) was also at Disney Boardwalk to sign autographs and talk to people (he does alot of Sea/fish etc paintings and sculptures)

Telorida... I actually live in Port St. Lucie about 45 minutes North of West Palm Beach close to the Indian River.(Intracoastal waterway).. Tho with the rain that is beating down my roof... I could be in the middle of the river now I think! lol I do know Deltona and Winter Park tho... UCF close to WP and one of my favorite towns of Casadega is close to Deltona :) You grew up in a wonderful place of Florida....:)

You'll be down today because I am to the tune of 1.4lbs. I am so back in the groove again. I am going out to a fish restaurant tonight so I am going real easy on breakfast and lunch to make room. Fish is pretty easy for me to stay OP with anyway. I fly back to Ankara tomorrow where I stay until Thursday. After that, I go to Belgium. Complicated.

Telorida - Congrats on the challenge!! I have to change my tracker at some point but I'm not ready to do it yet - my final goal is 153-160 but it seems so far away that I need mini goals. The lowest weight I've had is 178 as an adult and even that seems difficult. Going to aim for 188 - 11 pounds and then revisit my tracker.....(copied from my post in Memorial Day Challenge) I am a slow loser....My goal is 1 pound during this challenge while everyone races to 5!! On average I lose a little under 1.5 pounds per week.

OH IAN... We did lose that gain telepathically I think. I love my scale this morning. So Tomorrow...l another 1/2 - 1lb? I sure do think so. Your "biz" trip sounds like alot of fun and I hope that you are having fun around all the meetings < o > the evil eyes are keeping you safe (they are a good luck charm)

LuluNH... loosing in small increments is a good way to look at things as the final goal does not look so far off. :)

Telorida: I read your post about hitting rock bottom. I totally know that feeling, and as much as experiencing that sucked, it'll be great motivation. I use my memories of mortifying/ sad moments to push through workouts and to force myself to recommit to plan when I fall off the wagon. And you did SO well this past week, so I have absolute faith that your success will continue and one day you'll look back on Jamaica and laugh =)

Me..... Still holding steady... but this happens every few weeks or so... so I am not upset just annoyed lol I liked how the beginning of the month went much better.... Just gotta be positive :) I tried yelling at "will" my scale as the Evil Eye just did not work.. (Well maybe it did... as sometimes weight gain just happens for no reason and that did not happen! )

uh oh ian! we're neck and neck!

and thanks sue! the last time i was at this weight was when i graduated from college 3 years ago. I had gotten up to 247 in college, and decided to do weight watchers. Got down to 204, then moved back home and slowly gained 22 lbs back, so it feels good to be losing again =) and lulu, i hope to be joining you very soon =)

I think you got this Happierme. I can feel myself losing a little today but it's not as intense as a big loss day which is what I need. Plus it's 5pm here now so there's no changing anything. The only thing I have on you is that Turkey is seven hours ahead of the US East Coast so if there is a miracle for me tomorrow I get to post it before you!

Hi Sue, I get this "pain" in my side when I am losing big time. I have a little of that this evening but not a big one. That indicates, to me, a 0.4lb loss or something. I really know when the 1lb+ losses are coming. But who knows. It's mostly guess work!

PS 4-way? The mind boggles. How would that work?

Can't weight until tomorrow but not feeling it - I think I am probably holding steady but the suit I wore yesterday was very loose. I am going to try on some smaller clothes when I get home tomorrow. Added a second ticker - firmly decided that I need to lose 50 more pounds - this continues to be a huge struggle for me - concentrating on the journey and not so much on the destination - I didn't expect to feel so conflicted about my goal.......

Hey everyone!

It's been a very busy weekend/early week for me, so this is just a quick driveby update to the threads I usually post in. I hope to come back in a bit and see how you've all been doing. I'm sure you're all kicking butt, though!

I held pretty steady this weekend. I worked very hard to manage that, because I usually have a gain of 3+ lbs by Sunday that takes until Tuesday to shake. This week, I fluctuated by much less, so my efforts toward keeping my water intake up really helped.

Saturday night at a birthday party, I indulged a little. And "a little" was a small glass of someone's home-brewed beer, and three or four strawberries. I felt good coming out of that experience and stayed good on Sunday.

Last night, we went out with friends to a place that does cheap burgers on Tuesday night. My husband used it as an excuse to go off plan, but I prevailed. Avoiding the bun, chips, and fries was not my big success... my big success was not letting my husband's deviation from plan dictate my adherence. And I was especially able to hold fast on Tuesday because I know this upcoming Saturday is going to slow me down... there is a beer festival and we will be attending with close friends. I enjoy beer greatly, and I will be tasting everything that looks interesting.

Anyway, work is busy so I have to get this posted and then run again. Take care, and I hope to be back to check up on you all tomorrow.
