UK Fat Chicks - 3 weeks till june (practically summer) challege

Hi UK girlies,

3 weeks today it will be the 1st June. Summertime (fingers crossed for the weather. Poor us).
Who would like to do a 7lb challenge with me? Pleeease....

My pledge is to lose my last pesky 7lb in 3 weeks (have lost 3 and a half sto e so far but last bit WONT budge).
I will: not eat sugar
Drink 3 litres water a day
Eat consciously
Keep a food diary

Yep, I'll jump in to that! I've got 6lbs to go until my next goal, but 7 would be most welcome too! :)

I need to not go to too many barbecues! (I wish, in this weather :P)

Fab. Am so glad, we can do it TOGETHER.

Did everyone have a good 'first day'?
Mine was good, stuck to plan, drank my water and went for a walk (am not big in the exercise. Need to step it up. Have Tracey Andersons DVD so MUST start doing it).
Di1586- thanks for the congratulations. How's your diet going? It always the last few that seem to be the hardest to lose.
Kitcherella- please join. Where do you live now? 7lb is well realistic. Defs do it.
Leaves-perfect timing for you to start the challenge then. Congrats for being so close to goal. What diet have you been doing?

Day 2 done and dusted.
Had a lovely day and was busy so barely thought about food.
Did v well with my eating/water intake. Stuck to plan.
I have my weigh meeting on Tuesday so hoping to be 2 pounds down since last week (or at least 1lb off. Pretty please) which will put me well on track for 7 pounds loss in total.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Wooo, well done for day 2!

My plan is just calorie counting and exercising when I get the chance! It's going pretty well so far, hoping to be at least 140 for my graduation on the 9th of July, hopefully down a pound tomorrow :D

This is my first post but not my first time losing weight!
Todays weight is 144, aiming to lose 5lb by June so 139 is goal for this challenge!

So day 3, did well food and water wise. But STILL did not manage to exercise. I think I have been putting off so much I have created a fear around it.
I bought Tracey Anderson's DVD (the woman who 'made' Gwyneth paltrows body) so there is NO EXCUSE not to do that at home.....tomorrow DEFS.

How is everyone else doing?
Weather was weird today but the bit of sun made me very excited and motivated for summer time weight loss and actually being happy/confident wearing my summer wardrobe.

Can I join in too? I'm trying to kick off the 15 pounds I regained over the long winter! I have more than that to lose, but I'm starting with getting back to my lowest weight.

I was really good today. Drank my water, kept my calorie count down and managed to exercise! :carrot: Also started the 30 day squat challenge.....I will be lucky if I can walk tomorrow!:D

I think I just about weighed in at 144 this morning, but my scales are cheapy not very clear ones, so i'm going to weight for a more definite result before changing things. Looks like I might hit my goal by the 1st of June after all!

Hi! My Masterplan! Well i'm just calorie counting on my phone with MyFitnessPal aiming for 1200 which is harder some days than others so i'm trying to look at it as an average for the week rather than rigid each day if that makes sense?
I need to start exercising again too, I was really good for a while but haven't done anything in about a month because I had blisters from my trainers! Ha poor excuse :s

Ohhhhh I'm loving how many people have joined the challenge!
I think summer clothes are the BEST (scariest) motivation.

I just got back from my weigh in meeting and down 3lb from last week. So unexpected so am v v pleased.

Have had good day today.....obvs still no exercise but am joining the gym in Monday with my mum so we will hold each other accountable.

Summer clothes are definitely an inspiration, but I won't let myself buy any yet in the hope that I'll be smaller soon! Weighed in at 144 today, but have a party planned over the weekend so I know there'll be party food. Need to be extra good today!

How are you all doing? I've been doing well with food but last night accidentally drank one and a half bottles of wine! Really going to try to exercise today, hopefully after I do it once I will get back into it.

I am calorie counting-ish, part-time tracking on MFP but mostly just counting vaguely in my head and trying to be reasonable with what I'm eating! I'm at 143.2 now, so numbers are gradually going down! I'd love to be at 126 for when I go on holiday mid-August, but 130ish would be fab!

How have you all been?

I am sticking to my plan, had a good week and still drinking all my water. Fingers crossed scales will be my friend on Tuesday.
2 weeks today it will be June so we are third way through our challenge.....2 weeks chicks. Let's do it for summer!

I'm still at 143, but 12 days to go so need to start getting some exercise in. My main problem is evenings. I have about 500 calories before 6pm and then I eat more at night! Poundland have started doing 'metcalfe's skinny topcorn) which is 115 cals a portion, but come in big bags, the sweet and salt one is delicious and I ate pretty much a whole bag last night :/

Weigh in last night and am 2 pounds down.
Sooooooo happy.
5 pounds in total since starting this challenge.....so 2 more to lose and 10 days too lose it in.
Come on chicks. 10 days til June....and till summer clothes (even if the weather stays as shitty I WILL be in summer clothes!)

Have started reading beck and finding the daily tasks very helpful.
Am also trying to stick to low GI/gl food. Does anyone else do this diet?

Hey girlies, it's the first of June! How have you all done? I weighed in at 141 this morning which I am incredibly pleased with! Definitely a record low here :D

I *almost* did it. 6 pounds off!
Not quite the 7 for the challenge but weighed in at 132 this morning which is lowest I have EVER been as as adult.......veeeeery happy. Good start to a Sunday.
And now ha e a lovely day- working this morning, with a family and then meeting v old friend for coffee and shop then gym. Finally started exercising and really not minding it TOO MUCH!
How did everyone else do?
