nicole: Make sure every meal and snack is well planned today.
Try to make a new recipe or two this weekend. VERY helpful to me to change things up.

Good morning all!

I am in my second week of phase 2 and can not begin to tell you how much better I feel. During phase 1 I was exhausted the entire time and constantly sleeping. When I started, I knew I was phasing off by the end of MAY, so we planned one week each of phase 2 & 3. My coach decided to move me to phase 2 to see if the extra calories helped my exhaustion. What a world of difference!!!! I am still losing too! My advise is if you still feel terrible after a month in, talk to you'd coach about it. Mine wishes that's I had done phase 2 all along.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

This definitely goes to show everybody and every BODY is different.
How wonderful you have a coach who is well enough trained to personalize the plan, rather than just using the dough-cutter model. Not everyone is so lucky.

P2 is still plenty low cal and the same low carb!

I'm glad your found a way to make it work for you!

TGIF Everybody!

Have you all been reading the "Now that I'm thinner" thread? If you haven't, stop what you are doing and go read it. SO inspirational and fun!

My husband and I have a rare weekend alone this weekend, because my son is going camping with his boy scout troop. A new microbrewery just opened in our neighborhood, and my husband wants to try it. Since I am an IP devotee, I am off all alcohol, soda, and caffeine. Question: What can I order while I am sitting at the bar so that I blend in?? I really don't want to have to sit there with a full tumbler of ice water . . . any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

To anyone running out of steam (didn't quote from your post and now I can't remember your name!), stick with it. Slumps pass. I was feeling that way a couple of weeks ago, but now I am back on track mentally. Just do what Lisa said to get yourself through it: plan and prepare ahead, make things as easy as possible on yourself for the time being. When I am "over it," trying new recipes doesn't help me as much as having easy, ready-to-go meals ready so that I don't have to invest much time or thought. Maybe buy some frozen peppers/onion mix and stir-fry it up with some chicken? Make extra and reheat for the weekend. Next think you know, it will be next week and you will have more days under your belt and, hopefully, a nice, motivating WI. You'll get through it and be so glad you did!

Well the scale didn't move for me this week but the inches did. Cloths fitting looser so I know that the inches are coming off. I posted a before and after in my profile if anyone wants to see where I was last summer and the past March. I have lost 15 more since then. Have a super weekend everyone..!

A1Texan you look great!!!! I agree you should be very proud.

SylviesGirl, I always order a Perrier (or whatever brand they have) and have them put it in a 'pretty glass'....usually ends up being in a big wine glass. I've never felt left out and even now in maintenance I find I prefer this over my previous choice of Pinot Grigio.

I'm so thankful it's Friday!!!!

When I gained the latest surge of weight a year ago, I bought a single pair of size 18 jeans, optimistic that it wouldn't be long that I'd be back in my size 16.

I wore those jeans so much that I wore a hole in them two weeks ago, but it was a SIGN! Because today is Jeans Friday at my work... and I now have a closet full of size 16 jeans that I fit in.

Can't wait to hit size 14... I'll be able to get the jeans from college (the fat years of college, albeit) from my parents' house!

Today is a lovely Friday. I think I'll celebrate... with my usual berry smoothie for breakfast.

Sylvia's girl - I read "now that I' m thinner" yesterday. Very enjoyable good read for all.
Cheeks your picture is amazing.

Yes - trying something different does help with some of the struggle. I'm doing chow mein over cauliflower rice tonight....can't wait! I'll make at least two meals worth so easy to know what's for dinner. Can just grab and heat.
Have a great Friday everyone!
