Default May Fitness Goals

I have new fitness goals for the month of May! I need to be accountable and actually meet these goals, and not slack or get lazy. I posted on my blog about all of my goals for this month.

I plan on finishing up the 30 day squat challenge and do the May plank challenge for starters.

I have several other goals as well and just hope I'm not trying to do to much this month.

For some reason, I'm feeling like I'm not doing enough, not pushing myself as much as I should. Anyone else feel that way?

I have really wanted to hit the strength training but I've really not been consistent.

My goals are to stick with the 30 day shred, and either go for a walk or use my treadmill most days.

My goals are to begin the full Insanity program with my husband, to work out at least 5 days a week, and to run at least once a week!

I want to finish C25K (I'm doing it every other day) and do the 30 Day Shred on non-running days. I also want to do yoga at least 4X a week.

I have my first Spartan Sprint race EVAAAAAAAAAAAAR on May 26th. I'm thrilled, excited and scared at the same time.

I want to start doing some core/abs training again, I kinda left that aside for the past few months.

I also want to follow as much as possible my half marathon training program, even if we'll have a few things coming up during the next weekends that will need to change a bit my usual schedule.

We can do thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis!

I want to be able to hold a 90 second plank by June 1st on my arms, and a 60 second plank on my sides. I feel the same way, about sometimes feeling like I am not pushing myself enough!

I might add in morning planks, in addition to whatever workout I do that day.

I really want to concentrate on my food choices and portion control (which is going to be difficult from the get-go; there's a wedding in the family this weekend and various branches of the family tree are arriving from all over, which means much food and celebrating, holy crap).

I'm also doing a plank challenge along with a push-up challenge (I can already hold a 1-minute plank on my hands and toes, but I want to build up to being able to hold the position for four minutes by the end of the month, as well as building my stamina with side planks.)

I want to try again with the 30-Day Shred but think I may leave that for June. *L*

I also want to continue with C25K (I'm on week 4.) There's a 5K road race coming up in June that I want to sign up for!

I really want to stick to my diet its hard because of my job, found out I really like zumba so I seem to be sticking to it a lot longer than most exercise I try

Stick to the 30DS and be consistent with it and also be a bit more strict with healthy eating (ie: try to eat at least 1 salad a week).
