hey ataraxia3 - i can't believe it's may ALREADY either! wow!

I did 2 miles this morning. I used the Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan. and then I did the arm exercises that I posted the link to yesterday. it's basically 30 reps of 5 different arm exercises.

thanks gang for the well wishes on my wrist. I really think the shot helped! I cannot tell you how much it was bothering me :( seems better tho! :)

Yep. And I hope it's the last one I ever have to have. I feel so much better, though. I was hurting A LOT for the last few weeks. Just very relieved.:)

Hey Ladies, Haven't been able to walk since Monday... working overnights and then my hard drive had the nerve to crash tuesday night as I'm working on a presentation draft due yesterday (I'm still recreating it). Still doing my squats and push ups. Hoping to fit in a super short walk today.

It's that time of the month again and i haven't been feeling so great :( I didn't do any work outs or walks yesterday.
Tonight I did 2 miles & arm exercises.

Annie i'm so glad you were able to get that root canal, you must be feeling a lot better now.

Are you feeling better?

I just don't know. I feel good for a while and then it is like someone just hits me with a ball bat. Headaches, neck pain, all over pain, I see my doctor monday so maybe he can help figure it out.

hey gang - i'm sorry i haven't been here for several days - i've had the worst ear infection! :( besides the pain i've been so incredibly dizzy :faint: and then had a busy weekend at church cooking for a LARGE group yesterday. it's been crazy!!! i seem to be getting better and may try to get up tomorrow and walk. hope to see y'all then! :wave:

Annie, I did try the Walk, Eat, Lose dvds from qvc. I like all of Leslie's stuff but for some reason I just didn't care for those. I ended up giving them to my sister who says she uses them sometimes. but I can't even tell you what I didn't like about them :(

Those booster cables she is using look like they would be difficult to use. Maybe that's what it was, Cathy? Sure hope your ear issue gets better soon. That is so frustrating!!

Annie I have seen that on QVC before and tried to find it on youtube with no luck

My right knee has become really sore over the past couple of days, im debating whether or not to go see my doctor about it. I'm going to get a brace to use in the mean time but today i avoided working out my legs. Decided to take this time to do upper body work outs so today I did:

Hey friends! I REALLY need to break this cycle of not sleeping well...AND getting to bed late in the first place....and not being able to get up to exercise. I can't let it become a habit. Whether it helps in weight loss for me or not, the benefits are too great to slack off. Hoping to get one in in the morning. Going to spend the weekend working in the yard and flower beds, so probably won't do any DVDs, but want to get back to my routine next week.

Annie i've been having the same issues with getting to bed so late and not sleeping well & it has been effecting my work outs :(
Next week will be much better, time to get back on track.
I just used the past couple of days to also rest my knee that i've been having issue with...& i should have done more upper body workouts but i slacked off.
Luckily my knee wasn't hurting too bad today so i decided to do 2 miles and i feel good. I just want my knee to be back to 100% so i can feel comfortable doing every work out.

Wow. After two days of severe weather here in Oklahoma, myself and my family are all safe and sound. So thankful, but we have our eyes to the skies again here today. Possibly even worse weather threatens later today. Hope our Kansas friends are all safe, too.

Worked in my yard Friday night and almost all day Saturday and got most of my annuals planted. Hot and sweat and muscles I forgot that I had!

Me and my family. Some roof damage at our place out in the country, hubby was there and was missed by about 2 miles with a tornado. I am in shock at the destruction here in my city. Unbelievable. Please pray for those being rescued and missing.

So glad you guys are ok. God be with everyone in those areas. My heart hurts so bad for those who are still missing loved ones, or have lost loved ones. All the destruction, sigh. :( It just boggles the mind to see how much damage there is. I remember after the Joplin tornado, the first time we had to go shop there and it made me think of the nothing from "The Neverending Story" it truly made me feel as though I had gone blind somehow, just nothing was there.
Here in SE Kansas we had some bad sections of storms, but thankfully where I am all we got was RAIN! My yard was completely under water but no damage to house or garage.

I went to March Against Monsanto in downtown San Diego today , so my work out was the 6 mile walk/march! Half of those miles being straight up-hill!!! I felt so good afterwards. Hope everyone is having a great weekend xoxo

I'm here, Carol!!:hug: Just finally got back to it this morning after several unplanned days off. Just was staying up too late last week watching all of our storm coverage. Wasn't sleeping well, either. Hubby and I celebrated our one year anniversary on Saturday, too! Had a nice, low-key weekend.

So I did the One Mile Get Up And Get Started Walk from the 5 Day Fit Walk using 2# weights. I want to do my best to do the 3 Mile Boot Camp in the morning.

Hope everyone had a relaxing Memorial Day weekend.

Woohoo go Annie!! & Happy Anniversary :)

You all are having an awesome start to the week. This weekend I got a little too much sun & ended up getting a second degree sunburn on different parts of my body where my skin was exposed. I'm blistering and am in a lot of pain :( it's been really hard to sleep let alone try to work out. I skipped my workout yesterday & today because it just hurts too much to move around like that. I'm keeping myself lathered up in aloe & am trying to stay comfortable. It'll probably be a few more days until it really starts to heal up & the pain lessens. I'm really afraid of this throwing me off track but i'm not going to let it hinder me.

Ataraxia....I have had a bad sunburn like that in the past and I don't envy you one bit! I bet it will feel better soon. Have you tried cool compresses and maybe some Advil or Tylenol?

Annie I also popped some iburprofen earlier and was able to get a work out in! Haha! No Leslie Sansone today but I found this goody on youtube (link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUki7XMG0iA)) - i really liked this workout, i had to modify a few things but overall it was a good workout for me today.

Hey friends, just checking in to say we are all safe here. Very close call and we rode out the worst of the storm in a local church basement. They allow you to bring your pets in and I am so thankful for that. Some hail and high winds here, blew a branch off of one of my trees. Roof isn't leaking, but I plan to have it checked soon.

Haven't exercised the last 3 days. My back decided to act up and finally went to the doc today and started prednisone, muscle relaxers and pain med. I think that pound I lost last week found its way back onto my body. Been munching on ice cream and such. Gotta get back in the swing soon!

Annie i'm glad you're ok out there, these storms have been really scary sounding. I'm glad you were able to get to the doctor so you could get some medicine for your back.

No workouts for me today but used today as a major cleaning day, scrubbed down the whole kitchen and bathrooms lol broke out a good sweat with all of that
