Default Hello

Thanks Sam

It is very nice to hear from you. Since giving up my comfort eating I have become massively depressed but the day just got better from your message. x

Hey Muse, sorry to hear you're feeling down

What's your plan for your weight loss? Is there anything you could do to try and replace comfort eating? I used to comfort eat, but I'm trying to replace it with looking after my pot plants. We have loads now, I'm sure it's driving my boyfriend mad! Anything that keeps you occupied can help.

Good luck!

Hi Muse,

I'm a comfort/emotional eater too, so i know where you're coming from. Leaves as given very good advice about replacing the comfort eating with something else. I have started listening to my favourite music, made a compilation on you tube and i play it when i'm feeling down to give me a boost. Also you could buy a couple of magazines or read your favourite book. Watch a favourite film/TV show, anything you enjoy doing to take your mind off food. It also helps me to chew gum, it's just something to chew and it feels like your eating something. The other night i was having bad cravings and i know it was just boredom so i had an early night and watched TV in bed. 20 minutes later i was ok and didn't feel hungry. So sorry that you have been feeling depressed though, big hugs being sent your way. Just know you are not alone, 3fc members and myself are right their with you on the same journey.

Hugs Sam xxx
