ive been working so hard the past week and gained a pound. i keep track of everything i eat. yes i know muscle weighs more than fat but im burning calories like crazy at the gym. shoudlnt that help?

A pound is nothing. You could be retaining water, you could have to poop. The body naturally fluctuates. Dump two 8 oz cups of water into a glass and look at it. Really, it's nothing.

I completely agree with Jez. Are you tracking your weight loss? If not, it might be helpful to start and then you can pay attention to the trend of weight loss and not the week to week. I focus more on what I'm losing over the course of the month rather than an individual week.
