Awesome!!!! You must feel amazing!!! I love reading your posts, they always make me smile. :)

I can't wait for that moment. I'd already be there if mine didn't go and lose weight along with me (he's not dieting, just isn't eating junk as much anymore as I can't have it). I told him to slow it down already lol!! A healthy husband is surely a gift to me but it makes me mad they lose weight so effortlessly!!

Congrats! That's wonderful! It's a moment I'm looking forward to, too.

We all know that shouldn't matter. We're doing this journey for us. We'll be healthy at the end. But, man, it sure feels good to reach what is definitely one of those psychological goals that makes no sense in the overall scheme of things and yet they mean so much!!!!! Congratulations. Enjoy the glow!

Awesome! You are such an inspiration.

Oh Sweetie That is Huge:D

One of my unspoken fears was getting to my husband's weight and he 's 6 ft tall!
My husband use to carry me off to bed at night ...and swoop me up in his arms..
Before I lost weight he would have to use a Wench to lift. Me.:(

Couple of weeks ago my husband swooped me up in his arms ...I felt like I Won The Lotto:carrot:

So :carrot: happy for you and I really get where you are coming from:)

Thank you everyone! :grouphug:

I've mentioned before that I had a silly little bet going on with my husband a few years back, from before we were even married. I'd finally returned to the weight-loss bandwagon back in 2009 after maintaining at 285 for three years (my highest was 360). I wanted to at least get back down to my high school weight of 250, and since the hubby was around 240 at the time, getting below his weight seemed like the perfect challenge for me. I told him once I did I was gong to buy an awesome pair of boots to replace the ones I'd lost when I moved. :D

Getting under 250 was always a struggle for me (and had only happened twice before), and this time around was no exception. I plateaued big time before finally managing to get down to the mid 240's for a short time last year. And all the while, the hubby was slowly losing without even trying. :dizzy: Then an enormous amount of stress hit me all at once and I completely gave up, which resulted in my only major gain of the past 8-9 years. :( I forced myself back on track early last year after climbing back up to 267 and stated that giving up again was not an option.

Heh, it took forever to catch up to him now that he's down in the two-teens; at yesterday's meeting I weighed in at 213. :smug: And as for those boots? I finally treated myself to them a few months back . . . I'd waited long enough, right? ;)

So weighing less than him has never really "mattered," yet it's still a very nice accomplishment for me. :) I'm still just very happy I managed to get under 220, a place I'd never managed to get under before! :D I can't wait for the day he can pick me up; I don't think I'm even gong to try asking until I'm under 200 though.

Congrats! That is awesome! I can't wait to meet the same threshold!
