Question Need Opinions, Is This Possible

I know I lurk more now than I post, but lately I've been really struggling to get back on the loseing track. I picked up some slimfast products last night, now I have been on WW for over 2 years and lost 50lbs on it, but sometimes trying to find new ways to fix old food is just not possible, and I dont have time to do all the cooking. I honestly like the taste of slimfast, and I have figured out the points value, so do you all think it is possible to combine the two programs into a custome made one for myself? I'd like to have input. I hope everyone is having a great OP day.

I don't see why you shouldn't do that, Aradia. As long as you're getting the proper nutrients for the day...
The only trouble I had with SlimFast was that I'd have one for breakfast, and then eat extra at lunch time because I felt lightheaded or something.

Check the buyer beware section. But if it works for you, more power.

OMG! Why dont I come here BEFORE making shopping decissions?? Anyway now I have a ton of sf products.....so when I need a choc boost I think I'll just use those, as my program, maybe its time to re-dedicate myself to WW. Get off my butt and exercise. Anyway, something has to change, I'm tired of dragging my feet. Chris thank you for directing me to that section of the site, I'll be checking there often. Hope all of you have a wonderful day.

I think it's a great idea to mix and match - design a program that works for you - so why not give it a try?

Sometimes I have a smoothie for a meal but like Ellis I tend to eat more at the next meal. I like to chew stuff you see & I feel deprived if I jsut have a shake. But I'm thinking about doing a smoothie thing for maybe one meal, with maybe a piece of fruit to chew on as well.

Let us know how it goes!

My friend goes to WW with me but she has a slimfast shake for breakfast everyday since she is not a morning person and doesn't have time to eat before taking off for work.

She just counts the points for the shake into her daily allowance and eats a proper lunch and dinner.

I occasionally eat the bars for breakfast or as a quick emergency fix when I am too busy to eat-again the bars count as points in your daily allowance.

I also just rejoined WW and am working hard at meal planning and cooking. It is work but it is worth it to eat healthy -well -balanced meals.
