I had two helpings of beef bourgignon at lunch today, then I had two hotdogs, and two helpings of veggies and dip, fruit, cheese and cracker- stomache hurting now :p ellis 05-19-2003, 07:50 AM I totally screwed this weekend. Started on Friday night... went to Friday's Roast Beef House with my friend Jim (celebrating his birthday) and ate like a :queen: . And for the last two days I've been trying to eat as much as is humanly possible. I've gained 3 pounds. damn. Lidian 05-19-2003, 10:02 AM I had some chocolate last night (Lindt 70% cocoa dark chocolate thin squares, on sale they were too) - and a little blueberry wine. And some lovely Indian takeout on Saturday [she said as she belched loudly]. Lidian becgris 05-20-2003, 11:06 PM My part-time job is not good for my eating habits...Boredom is my enemy!!! Today had a baked potato (with sour cream) and chili on top. Not too bad compared to my usual fast-food heart clogger meals. Of course then this afternoon I was sent on a snack run. Ended up having 1/3 of a pint of Dreyers Brownie Turtle Sundae and a twinkie. Help! Working with guys who can eat anything is not helping me. :cbg: ginya 05-21-2003, 09:09 AM I love all these posts! And you all rule in my book, when I would go off program and have something wonderful...that was it, I was done, end of trying...I always figured I blew it and would forget the whole thing..but y'all get right back on the horse! Y'all keep heading in the same direction! I am soooooooo proud of you...and amazed. I wish I had your strength! Lidian 05-21-2003, 11:08 AM I already wrote this is the online jounal but this is the right thread to mention it too: Yesterday 2 peppermint patties, 4 chocolate mini eggs, roll & marg, bag of Spudz (low fat potato crackers but the WHOLE d*** bag). Mostly not very good - the roll was good but the choc was cheap & the Spudz are not that good either but they were there (to divy up in plastic baggies for DD's packed lunch, not for her mother to hoover down!) I had had a couple of "talks" with DH that were sort of upsetting, which I realize is no reason to pig out, but I did anyway! Today will be better (plus I ate all the junk in the house I think, so there's that) Lidian:) mauvaisroux 05-21-2003, 03:35 PM On Monday we drove to Brockville and had fish and chips down by the park on the St. Lawrence River. You could see the buildings on the stateside :) Then I had soft serve ice cream -burp! But I am back op for Tuesday and Wednesday-big salads and baked fish for dinner, tonight is chicken with fiddleheads and redskin potatos :T Amyjo01 05-21-2003, 04:37 PM I have a major case of the PMSIRSwillEatAnthingBlues... I did so so very good on Monday- Yesterday I ate like it was my last day on earth Today started good but got stressed out over the IRS audit and started eating like well lets just say like a :ink: Well maybe there is tomorrow. A RachieD 05-21-2003, 07:38 PM Lets see today ate Arbys Kids meal for breakfast and bag of Chips for lunch/Dinner...but yesterday was a TOTAL OINK breakfast was 3 powdered donuts a Pancake on a Sick w/ syrup, for lunch ate Braums (burger fry shake) for Dinner ate Chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy...then for an after work snack had frosted flakes... Amyjo01 05-21-2003, 07:58 PM MMMMM I want what she had...too ellis 05-21-2003, 09:11 PM Advance pig alert! I'm going to eat a bowl of corn chips. :D Lidian 05-22-2003, 10:39 AM Let's just say I am going to let the young ladies of the house, who run around all day (at their school they have gym 3x a week and recess 2x a day, with lots of leaping/running/jumping/cavorting going on) have the rest of the mini chocolate eggs. And I really did not need a piece of toast after my cereal this morning, did I? I did not. In fact I only wanted the toast, but told myself I ought to have the cereal. Should've listened to me. Will NOT spend rest of day eating toast. Will not, must not, should not. It is whole wheat raisin toast & very delicious. Will now stop thinking about lovely whole wheat raisin toast with margarine. And about chocolate eggs. And toast. Lidian squeaker 05-24-2003, 10:52 PM Whole plate (2 big pieces) of Chicken French - chicken in a white wine sauce, and a few breadsticks, and some Timbits. Now I think I am going to have a fudgesicle. rochemist 05-25-2003, 03:05 PM Oink! Oink! Oink! 2 butterfinger bars, much vending machine food, 3 hotdogs (all beef) and the previous night went and had the butter burger! Miss Chris mauvaisroux 05-25-2003, 09:38 PM What is a butter burger? :?: ellis 05-26-2003, 08:01 AM That's what I want to know! (or do I? :D ) Ruthxxx 05-26-2003, 08:44 AM Butter burgers are just ordinary burgers, I think. I had them in WI last summer - fried in buttermaybe? By the way, Ruthless was here last night and forced me to eat a small loaf of Claire's lemon bread - with lite margarine, as if that matters! Dumb broad! Amyjo01 05-26-2003, 10:40 AM Too many chocolate chips, just chocolate chips but handful after handful.... got to go out in the deep freeze- I will not walk outside and through the yard to stick my hand in a bag of chocolate chips. Lidian 05-26-2003, 12:26 PM Yesterday, interspersed with the good stuff (i.e. the chicken and salad dinner, the low fat popsicle thing etc) there was (sigh) chocolate at night, followed by the pre-prandial corn flakes and a roll (no marg though, as if that helped!). Long thoughtful burp. Am having a bread & chocolate moratorium today (I hope I can do this for a lot of days). Hey, I might even lose some weight, who knows! Did not buy any Peps this weekend though, even though in the same store with them, and looked longingly at them. Then I remembered not to buy them (course I knew I had chocolate at home anyhow!) Lidian ellis 05-26-2003, 02:53 PM This is it. I can through evey damned day eating well until about now. It's almost 3:00. The kids will be home soon, and I'm starting to think about food. And I'm sleepy. And cranky. I need a shot of adrenaleine (sp) or something. Maybe I need to make another pot of coffee. If I could go to bed right now and not wake up until tomorrow, I'd have done really well diet-wise. And I'm rambling... I expect I'll be back here later... confessing... squeaker 05-26-2003, 08:40 PM What I have ate today (in total): A Krispy Kreme donut (which I actually don't like), some Tostitos & cheese, and a few chocolate chip cookies. Just got home and I think I am going to have PB & J and maybe some chips. What I really want - Timbits, a Peanut Buster Parfait from DQ, key lime pie, lemon squares, garlic bread, wings and pizza. ellis 05-26-2003, 10:50 PM What's a PB & J? Whatever it is, I want six of them. Just going to eat a couple bars of MacIntosh toffee. Screw it. Had a rough day. Wait a minute... peanut butter and jelly? Hmmm, on second thought... A large Skor Blizzard from DQ. squeaker 05-27-2003, 09:20 AM Yup, Peanut butter and jelly. One of the staples of my diet. Not actually great for diet food, but I eat it alot. Those toffees are good. Um, this morning someone brought a Dulche cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory in. A tiny piece is 44 grams of fat!!! 630 cals. All I did was eat the left overs from the knife and stuff that was still on the plate. Didn't eat a whole piece though... rochemist 05-27-2003, 11:46 AM Butterburger. They fry your burger up and then slide a pat of butter over the whole thing to bring out the meaty flavor. SO GROSS, but at the same time I just want one of those from time to time. Miss Chris Ruthxxx 05-27-2003, 01:55 PM DQ has Skor blizzards? Wow! That will be another temptation I must drive past on my way to music lessons! Oy vey! Chris, I just remembered my Dad sneaking butter onto his steak to "make it better" but he'd never let us kids do it. Hmmmmm - another taste treat! ellis 05-27-2003, 02:38 PM OH! No! No! I just made that up, Ruth! Stay away from DQ!! I used to put butter on my steak when I was a kid/teen. It was divine. :D And on my fries, too. Lidian 05-28-2003, 09:55 AM My mom used to put butter on our hamburgers too! It was lovely. In reaction to telling myself NO bread, of course I had raisin toast yesterday afternoon, & this morning for breakfast (has 10g fiber for 2 pieces though & is whole wheat). And the last of the chocolate last night, & some crackers. Because I told myself I couldn't have any, you see. And I was mad at DH, and I was trying to restrain myself from bopping him on the head. Yeah, that's a good idea to eat instead! Maybe I should get out my crochet instead, next time I want to bop him on the head (that would probably be tonight!) Lidian mauvaisroux 05-28-2003, 03:47 PM But you might stab him with a crochet hook Lidian  squeaker 05-28-2003, 04:27 PM  You girls are silly. I ate a fries & chicken wrap w/ blue cheese & hot sauce for lunch. And am going out for dinner for Sis#1's birthday. Also I was at work late last night, so I ended up with McD's for dinner. lizziness 05-29-2003, 09:36 PM oooh. a crochet hook. that's a good idea. i may need to learn how to crochet just so i can have the hook... stab him right in the eye!! *LOL* :s: vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
