Default I have to admit something

I ate a bite of cupcake last night.

I have been basically maintaining my weight for the last 2 weeks, struggling with cravings, and have seen more Girl Scout cookies pass through my hands than I care to count.

My oldest daughter's birthday and hubby brought home 3 cupcakes for the family. I had saved my Chocolate Soy Puffs so that I too had a desert to eat for the celebrations.

But I was doing the dishes, and ate a bite that was left on the plate. And you know what? It wasn't all the great. I've been thinking about all the foods I've been craving and how wonderful they'd taste and how luxurious it would be to eat them. The first thought that went through my head was that my Chocolate Soy Puffs were better.

And now all those cravings don't seem so big/strong anymore. And IP seems infinitely easier.

Thanks for listening.

Been there done that! LOL

I asked my coach last week what in the h@€{ he had done to my taste buds. Snuck a diet coke and was very disappointed only took 3 sips.

Great job with the weight loss. Keep up the awesome work!

I opened a diet pepsi a couple nights ago and I thought it tasted funny, so I never finished it.

I had to make 60 cake pops for Valentine's, and I ate one...

I haven't needed another "sweet" since then. It was not good to me, though everyone ELSE who ate them loved them and wanted my recipe...so yeah, definitely changing taste buds. For the better, I think.

As for the Pepsi... My huge treat to myself is a Pepsi Max every other week or so. I still LOVE them.

The taste changes are long lasting. I now love almost all the walden farms products, which I hated when I started ip.

Most sugary condiments now taste terrible to me.

That is such an inspiring thing to hear as a newbie. I've been eating plain salads in lieu of choking down the WF products. I really WANT to like these products... guess time will tell!
