I had around-the-world surgery (body contouring) back in 2006. It was an 8 1/2 hour surgery and was painful to get over for the first week, but after that it was a breeze. I had this surgery done because I had lost probably 5 bodies in my lifetime only to gain the weight back over and over. My surgeon cut me all the way around my lower abdomen and cut all of the excess skin off which for me was 7 inches in width. She also did a tummy tuck and somehow lifted by butt. My self-confidence went out of the roof as before my excess skin hung down to my mid thigh and I had to tuck it into my pants and after the surgery, I looked so much better. If anyone experiences the problem I had with excess abdominal skin, I would highly recommend Around-The-World surgery.

Thanks for the rec! Would love to see pictures. Glad you were happy with the surgery. I have rarely heard of anyone who wasn't thrilled getting rid of extra skin. How much weight did you lose that caused that much loose skin?
