I am having a really hard time motivating myself to get on the treadmill and realized some of you may be as well...especially those of us just starting or restarting out. I would like to propose a challenge to reach 150 minutes of exercise this week. This breaks out to 30 minutes a day for 5 days. You don't have to do it all at once, you can do it 15 minutes a day, twice a day for 5 days, or however you wish.
I have been doing 45 mins 6 days a week on the elliptical or bike for 3 months now. But stared 30 ds 8 days ago. I thought I could do both but have been slowly doing 30 mins or less on the elliptical. I get 140 from 30 ds But don't want to count that so I am in to try and get 150 mins a week. I figure I can do 25 mins 6 days. I needed this to challenge myself, I feel the need to keep up when challenged. Thanks.
I love the idea, but I've got an awful cold and exercise just isn't on the table right now. If you make this a weekly thing, hopefully I'll feel well enough to try next week!
I'm 40 minutes in already. I'd like to get to the gym tomorrow morning, but we'll see what time I get up- otherwise- another walk for me. I work late on Wednesday and Thursday- So I can definitely get to the gym then! And after work on Friday.
I really really REALLY want to get into the 2teens ASAP.
I'm in. I think I can do 150 minutes this week...I'm 4.5 months post achilles repair surgery and just got back on the recumbent bike. I'm up to 20 minutes. If I can do that 5 of 7 days, plus 2 days of PT, I should be good.
