I'm hoping someone out there might have a chart or something to tell me where my Target Heart Rate should be. I'm 26 if that has anything to do with it. I just haven't been able to find anything. I was specifically looking for a range for 60%-85%. If anyone has any info I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!!!

Okay, found it!!!

Just in case anybody else needs it the formula is.......

220 (-) your age (times) .60 for low end
220 (-) your age (times) .90 for high end

Glad to see this formula. I think I'm doing pretty good based on this formula.

Along the same lines....

I just purchased a heart rate monitor and it has been a lifesaver. It was amazing to see how quickly I would "fall" out of my zone. It makes one realize how often we exercise in an anaerobic state - which is why many of us exercise and don't see the fat burning results we are looking for.

It took me some time to research different models and find one appropriate for me (obese). If you want to know which model I purchased - "PM" me. I don't want to list it because I am not sure if listing it would be considered advertising?? No, I don't sell them.:D
