Exercise! - Damaging Floor Foundation While Exercising

Do you ever worry about doing high-impact (jumpy) aerobics on upper-level (2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc) floors?

Do you worry that it could damage the foundation and weaken the wooden floorboards?

My friend worries that continuously doing such exercises could destabilize and even break through the floor over time.

What do you think? Have you or anyone you know ever heard of such a thing?

Honestly, I think how much a person weighs. I am only 140 so if my few sets of jumping jacks each day are going to cause the floor to break, I think there are bigger problems in the house.

I wouldn't be concerned about the floor breaking. I would be concerned about the noise if you have people who live below. There are few things that irked me more when I lived in an apartment or was staying in a hotel than someone stomping or jumping around upstairs.
