Default How much do you lose each week?

Hello! I was just curious about how much you lose each week. Do you jump around week to week or do you stay within a certain range. I've found that I'm now losing 2lbs each week when before I was losing 3-4.

The first time I was on IP, I averaged 3-4 pounds per week (until I hit the 180s). After I hit the 180s, I averaged 2-3 pounds per week. I imagine when I get to the 150s, it will be more like 2 pounds/week, which is fine with me

Weeks 4-5 have been a strange stall/re-set for me, and I admit, I got frustrated and began having more snacks throughout the day...which didn't help my stall. However, I am back on track now and looking forward to 2-4 pounds/week. Every body is different, so it's hard to compare.

I'm losing 2lbs per week steady but I'm nursing a 4 month old every hour (and that includes overnight)!

Mine are in my signature. My average is about 3.8-4 lbs a week (although I'm sure it will slow down sooner or later).

Funny you mention the 180s- that's where I am, and it seemed to of slowed which makes since. I'm still enjoying the /lbs but of course would like more too.

My WIs are in my sig.
This is week 29. I'm still averaging over 2 lbs/week (2.31)
I have developed hypothyroid WHILE being on IP and I'm still showing these losses. No.other.diet.ever!

I'm losing right around 2 lbs per week. I've got a feeling it's going to start slowing now that I'm getting to be under 150 (hopefully soon!). All my losses in in my siggy.

Averaging a little over 2lbs per week but it goes up and down each week. Also as you near the end, your weekly amount will slow. There is less of you to haul around so your body isn't doing as much calorie burning.

My average is over 3 pounds per week, but as you can see from my signature, there is no rhyme or reason to the losses. Some weeks it's zero, some weeks it's 5 or 6 pounds. This week is a great example. On Monday I weighed in at 233.8 for a 1.8 loss, and today I'm already down to 230. I don't question it or get discouraged at the slower loss weeks.

Lisa,
That's amazing (and wonderful). Have you started taking thyroid meds? I was also diagnosed w/ hypothyroidism right as I was getting started last year. I take Armour thyroid meds.

BTW, bought wellness underground book, finished it in 2 days, enlightening. Am also reading "Mastering Leptin".

Mine vary a lot week to week. Anywhere from 1.4 to 3 lbs a week...then there are those weeks with no losses or less than 1 lb. TOM is usually why I have a no low or low loss week.

So far this week I lost 5 pounds; however on average I lose 3 pounds a week. Bad weeks I lose nothing!
