I hate my doctors scale!!!
It always weighs higher than my home scale.
Logically I know why there's a difference, but I hate seeing a higher number :-(
Oh the slide scale? That thing is brutal but I'm always wearing clothes so I always subtract a few pounds in my mind...I actually want to call my docs office to see what my last weigh in was considering I haven't been back there in a year. I think they're scale said I was 158. I couldn't remember exactly so I put 155 as start weight.
Awe Mozzy I feel for ya, I have the same disgust in my hmo scale.Even when I lose weight, they give me the look/attitude like you need to do better, like I'm not working on it. grrrr
Do it for you Mozzy, -----their sclae, you are a rock star and don't need them to tell you that.
I always try to wear a sweater I can take off, no socks (weather permitting!), dress pants instead of jeans, etc. I try each and every strategy to get as light as I can. I also pee like 5x before I have to go in too.
The electronic scales don't seem to be as bad to me as the mechanical ones the nurses use to balance back and forth. And why do they always start at 150 and then clank it up? That makes ME want to rant.
I hate those scales at the doctor's office... And it's never my doctor who weighs me... It's always some assistant who does it... Half the time I don't think they know what they're really doing... Just rely on your own scale.
