Hi all, wondering if you ever made a cauliflour pizza crust. I have looked up many recipes but some call for boiling, or steaming or sautéing or microwaving the riced cauliflour. Which way do u think is best. Maybe one holds up better than the other? Just wanted to cook something with red in it for valentines day. Funny how my 9 year old and hubby are super excited to try this, me too cause I adore pizza and having a sub should be great.

I'm not sure what diet you are doing however this is something I have found that works great for a crust- its not cauliflower however. But I look forward to seeing what others post.
1 c cooked cubed chicken breast
1 c shredded cheese
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp parsley

Throw it all into a food processor ( I don’t have one and cut the chicken into very tiny parts and used my hands to mix)
Add ‘dough’ to a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, roll out very thin. Back at 375 for 10 mins, take out cool for 5mins, add toppings re-bake until cheese is melted.

Here's what I find works best for cauliflower pizza crust --> whatever the recipe is (I recommend boiling) you have to get all the moisture out of the cauliflower so the crust holds together. Rice the cauliflower, boil it, let it cool (VERY IMPORTANT), drain, dump it all into a towel and then literally squeeeeeze all the remaining moisture out. You'll be amazed at how much moisture comes out of it (make sure you do it over the sink). Keep squeezing until all the water is gone and then continue with the recipe. It gives you a drier crust that crisps better.

Oh and by a towel I mean a dish towel. It's messy but it works!

Not on any specific diet, just try and keep carbs under 100 and do about 1200 cals a days. No juice or soda. But I am gonna try the chicken crust sometime it's week. My cauliflour is waiting to be used. Thanks.
I was partial to the boiling just nervous about what towel I woukd use, but going to use that method. Thanks

Sorry to be late to the party on this one but this is my go-to recipe which requires no squeezing or paper towels to get more moisture out because you are dry-cooking it in the microwave:

I really like it with basil instead of oregano and I top it with low carb bbq sauce, chicken, a little cheddar, pepper jack and mozz mixture and sliced red onions.

I also make several crusts at one time and then store them in the fridge for quick use. I haven't frozen them yet but that's my next step.

Made the cauliflower crust pizza tonight...loved it, and so did my 4 year old (I did put some pepperoni on her slice).
