Default Who are u?

I have a 15 year old son who lives with his dad, he goes through periods where he spends every weekend with us and times where he comes once a month. Usually I try to go out to him and have lunch once a week when he doesn't come too often, but lately have not as much for fear of the places he chooses to eat. Anyway he was here last week after a month of not coming. I am usually in my over sized sweats but put on a newer pair of jeans and a tank top. He was in the garage and it was kind of dark and I walked in through the side. He says "who are you? ... Oh hey mom". I was surprised by his comment, turns out he didn't recognize the new thinner me. That felt pretty good! He said I was pretty, not something my teenage son has really ever said to me.
Yesterday I went to my brother in laws job and rang the door bell there, when he opened the door he also said " dang I knew u were coming but I didn't recognize u at first." It's nice to know all my hard work is really showing!

TEE HEE! This post is sooo not what I expected! As I started to read I was thinking that it was about how teenagers can be so "different" at times. I was ready to hear that he was getting into something you really weren't sure of...but NICE SUPRISE ENDING!!! LOVE IT!!!

Congrats on the compliments! Especially from a teen boy! GOOD JOB!!! Also thanks for the giggle! Made my day!

Awe! That is great! No only did he not recognize you right away, but then he said you are pretty! Double sweet deal there!

Keep up the great work and congrats on doing so well!!
