Hi! Starting this thread a bit early since I am just looking forward for this month to be over! Only because I finally got back on the saddle about 2 weeks ago but for me, there's just something better about starting at the beginning of the month, you know? :)

Anyway, for newbies to these kinda challenges, you don't actually have to make your goal to be 10 pounds. Make it whatever you want it to be!

Come check in anytime to record your weight, no judgments of course. Let's do this and support each other!! ;)

I want to join in as well, I need something to put me back on track. Officially on my weigh-in day, I was weighing 167.8, but I think I will just say 168. My goal for March 1st will be 163 or lower.

I can't do 10 lb increments! But if I reach 163 by March 1st, I may try another 5 lb challenge for March so I can be at 158 by April 1st.

I'll be in but I will WI on Feb 1 to use as my end date for the January challenge and my starting weight for this one. It's a short month and I'm seeing that I'm slowing down after a dramatic first couple of weeks right at the start, so I'll be aiming for around 7 or 8, depending on my exact starting weight.

I am so in as usual. I am going to shoot for seven pounds this month. I've been kind of slowing down. I know I haven't been entirely faithful to my diet and exercise plan, and this month is my birthday month. I don't entirely plan on being really good. Not that I am planning on being bad. I am just getting close to goal, and I am giving myself a little more leeway than usual. I am at eight pounds down from last month. I just want to keep up the downward trend.

It's a short month so I'm trying to keep my goal reasonable. I'm tempted to try for 8lbs, but I'll stick with 6lbs. 1.5lbs/week is definitely doable, but frankly as long as I am in the 150s by Valentine's day I will be very happy.

I've been stalled lately, so I won't aim for 10 pounds- that's setting myself up for disappointment! So I'll go with 3 pounds, as 3 is better than the 0.2 I lost in January.

Yay! Glad to have you all on here!

I just took a peek at the scale recently and saw 178. (Thank you, WW/IF combo!) I am undecided on whether or not to count it towards this month's goal. However I will change my goal to 171 instead of 172 because I realize that will be my first 5% down since I re-started two weeks ago at 180.

Count me in. I've been OP for 32 days now. I lost 20 pounds in the first month. I know the weight comes off fast the first few weeks, so I will be happy with 10 pounds lost in this month.

Definitely in, these monthly challenges are what keep me pushing. I'm on the fence with goal weight this month...8lbs seems far more doable, but I REALLY wanna get below 165...so 10 it is!

I leave for my first EVER beach vacation on February 22 and won't be back until March 10. I am going from -30 without windchill to +30 IN ONE DAY! WOO! Given that the Arctic often lacks fresh fruit and veggies, I don't think I'll have a problem gorging on kiwi, berries, citrus- you name it!

Count me in as I'm doing a Biggest Winner Competition at the gym and the final weigh in is 3/2/13. Of course, that's totally off my cycle of losing, but I'm not going to win the contest. That wasn't the point. The point was to push myself harder to just get this extra fluff off that I put in this fall/early winter.

So, February first I weighed: 187. Ten pounds would put me at 177. I would be ecstatic with being under 180.

I ended January's challenge at 159 and started this challenge at 159. Last week I was at 159. The week prior to the end of January's challenge, I think I was at 158, up a pound from my low of 157. It bumped back to 157 maybe once or twice over the past couple weeks, but mostly I've been sitting back at 159 I think. I'm thinking it's the week before TOM water weight, but today my weight went to 160. For some reason it feels like I'm slowly gaining every week instead of losing, but that doesn't make any since because I know I'm in a calorie deficit and that's just not possible. I'm SO confused.

Good start so far! Wasn't expecting that because we had Sonic and then Marble Slab for dinner/dessert on Sunday. But...I didn't eat anywhere near as much as I would have in the past and I was perfectly satisfied. I guess I'm doing something right! At this rate, I'll definitely hit my 8 lbs goal.

I am quite excited to be back at my start weight this month. It is my lowest so far. But i so badly want to get down under 160. I want to see i 15 something!!
I exercised yesterday. Since i started losing weight on 12-30-12 I have just been focusing on eating well. Yesterday my boyfriend and i had pizza, real pizza, and i am trying to watch my carbs. Not a successful day. Then last night his internet was down, and that is the only way we watch tv at his place, so he got out dance central for the kinect and we played. It was my first time. But i loved it. It wasn't too bad on my asthma(which is always bad) and i easily got in a half our of movement. =)
So after all that to see a loss, i am feeling pretty good!

That's 3.5 lbs lost since the start of February! I can't believe it! I am finally starting to accept that I am losing weight and not just losing water weight anymore! Bye bye, fat cells! WOOOO!!!

Almost made my goal of 25 from Jan 1 to Feb 14. I missed it by one pound. Here's to another challenge of losing 25 by April 1st. Great job on losses everyone!!

i have been losing weight, and hitting the gym, and i mean intensely, my boyfriend (Who now weighs 145lbs) and i ( I weigh 152lbs now) got a personal trainer, and trust me, it's torture! so 3 days a week we train with the trainer (10mins cardio, and 50mins weight training) and 2 days a week we gym on our own (30mins cardio, tummy and calve exercises) and on a Saturday we just try to walk around the block (like a breather for our sore muscles!! My problem is, we are only taking in about 1500 calories per day (they said we cannot take less, because of the heavy exercise routines) and i am seeing my tummy is flatter, my butt isnt bulging, my cellulite is getting less, my arms are shrinking, etc. and i can start to see the muscle also, but I have hit a plateau!!! I cannot eat less, and definitely can't train harder! Lol, but isn't there certain foods i can try that will help me get out of the plateau?

Anitbiotics I think are causing a bit of water weight. I take my last set on Sun, so here's hoping next week gets back on track. I know I'm losing as my clothes are looser this week. :)

at my weight it's very hard to lose 10 pounds before March 1st, so I'll aim to weigh about 4 pounds less. So, if I weigh about 112~114 lbs by March 1st, I could actually maybe even reach my goal weight by my birthday, March 9th...

We're going in the wrong direction, and I guess it's water weight. Sarku on Sunday; yesterday I accidently went over my calories a bit cause I forgot to add my cereal for the morning. Whoops! Hopefully I can get this water out of me before the challenge ends.

Note: My body does not 'fluctuate' that much. I either way the SAME or I gain/lose a relatively significant amount. I've tried different scales thinking it may just be that mine is not that sensitive, but that just seems to be the way it is.

In one way it's good, b/c when I see a loss I can feel pretty good about it, but seeing the same number on the scale for two weeks when you know you have been working at it, can be infuriating at times.

I was stuck between 207-209 for a week now, I thought it would never come off! And I missed the gym twice because of a huge snowstorm we had since Sunday.

169.2 at Dr's office with clothes and shoes on. Granted I've been really sick and not able to eat much due to possible gallstones or whatever, ugh. So I know that 169 will not last long once I start eating normal again after I get better.

This month has not been the greatest for me. My original plan was to get to 156.4. But after spending the majority of the month above my lowest weight that isn't going to happen. I have reapplied myself and this morning i was back at my lowest weight of 161.4. So i'm hoping by some miracle tat by March 1st i can get out of the 160s.

I just recently started working out. I am taking it easy so far, only about 20 minutes. I have to build up to it due to my asthma. But it is making me feel good.

Well after a bit of fluctuation, I'm down 3 of the 5 lbs I wanted to lose by March 1st. I've been walking everyday and really working hard at making better food choices (I managed to resist fast food 3 times in the last week :carrot:)

So with some renewed enthusiasm I'm going to work really hard over the next week to make my goal! :)

Notes ~ Looks like I may go past my goal weight of 8 lbs and actually shoot for the 10 lbs this month!!

Yesterday's weight was up b/c I drove for 8 hours and then only got 2.5 hours sleep that night, so I expected a fluid gain.

Last night I slept for 9 hours so I got my pound back and lost another. :)

I am eating pretty low calorie right now, 1200 has been my high day this week, and a lot of days I hit around 1000. Also consuming plenty of water. Really going to try and hit February and March very hard and HOPEFULLY see the mid 140s by the end of March.

Ok well, I'm glad I'm back down. My body has not been past this weight in over a decade. I wonder if that's why I'm stuck. Well, I'm going to up my water intake stay around 1500. Its been hard to stick to that when I'm at work, but getting nuts and some beef jerky in is helping me to get to the calories I need.
