Low Carb Archive - South Beach Diet - Week of May 5View Full Version : South Beach Diet - Week of May 5 Ruthxxx 05-05-2003, 06:21 AM Happy May Monday! ageoldie 05-05-2003, 10:04 PM Okay, I finished the first two weeks and the total was about 7 pounds lost. Not bad. I finally got my book today, so I can see how I've REALLY done as far as being legal. NEXT.... LindaBC 05-05-2003, 10:10 PM Back on track after a major binge over the weekend. I may have gained on the scale, but my clothes are feeling looser. bunnyblues 05-06-2003, 02:05 AM Ok, I have been hiding out. Gave myself a free day on Saturday which ended up starting at midnight on Friday and going through Sunday night. BUT -- am doing well today. By the way, Jennifer, just caught your encouragement in the last thread. Thank you so much. Keeping my chin up. Over and out Jen cacikat 05-06-2003, 07:54 AM Hi guys, just finished my 4th week on SBD and although I didn't do as great as I wanted (who ever does), I did lose a total of 10 pounds and except for a few lapses, was not too hard. In fact, for me it seems to be a better way than low-fat, but there are still quite a few foods I miss. I haven't added too many carbs yet, but plan on having some strawberries this week and maybe some melon, but I am afraid of blowing the whole thing if I eat too many carbs. How is everyone else doing? I see Dr. A. answered quite a few questions that people had about SBD on the prevention forum. Caci scooby2 05-06-2003, 03:24 PM Got my book yesterday and am ready to start tommorrow!!! :D snflwr 05-07-2003, 08:57 AM Hey everyone!!! I can't believe it I lost 6 pounds in 5 days gained one back and on day 10 have lost half of the pound. I have been on many diets including Atkins and never have done or felt this good before. :D Hope you all are having a good day. patsi bunnyblues 05-08-2003, 01:39 AM Well, I spent the day shopping and getting pedicures with a friend. She wanted to go have sandwiches and cookies for lunch. I wanted to cave SOOOO badly -- the place she mentioned has my favorite sweet treat on the planet --- but I stuck to my guns and had a grilled chicken caesar. Small victories, eh? ageoldie 05-08-2003, 07:39 PM Bunny, I call that a MAJOR victory, not a small one! I'm still on thrack and will weigh in the morning to see how I've done this week. bunnyblues 05-09-2003, 01:17 AM WTG Barb! Can't wait to hear about your progress. I'm actually considering attending a WW meeting so I can get an accurate weight. My scale has gone berserk. You weigh once and it's 152 -- you step off and step back on and it's 146 -- you do it again and it's 150. It's driving me bonkers. vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
