Dietary Fats
I know (or think) generally "fats" aren't good for a diet. I know to stay away from trans fat and deep fried, fried or any foods cooked in that fashion. But I'm not educated enough on good fats, fats in a diet or how to count them properly and the healthiest way. I have a calorie counting app that illustrates the amount of calories, protein, carbs and fats I can have per day based on my current weight, age, height and goal.
I'm jsut wondering from people here and their experiences, how to go about counting their fat consumption throughout the day. My "limit" according to this program is 27-60 grams. My biggest dillemma is if that includes all types of fat (saturated, non-saturated, trans etc.), then how do I "seperate" the good from the bad and what my allowances for each are?
How bad is it to go over that once and a while given I'm not indulging in deep fried types of food ?
