Hello my name is Julie and i am new here. I am a 27 year old mother of 2 boys. I am currently 297 and started my weightloss journey at 333 in january 2003. I am just generally trying to eat better and be more active. I exspecially watch my carb intake. I am doing this with my mother and she has lost from 230 down to 191. I am exspecially interested in getting some new meal ideas that are low cal and low carb.

Welcome to the group! You're doing great so far!
I don't have any real meal plans to share, basically I just do what you're doing. I watch my portions, cals, carbs, and fat. I also get plenty of water and try to exercise everyday. Mainly walking and also light weights and ab work.
I'm 26 and the mother of one daughter, 5. I started out at 320+ lbs. in August of last year and have now made it down to 192 lbs. So just remember, it can be done!! Stay strong and keep up the good work and your efforts will be rewarded. Good luck and never give up, you're worth it!

What did everyone do for exercise today?? I did a short workout with my exercise ball and 5lb weights. For supper I had baked stealhead trout and steamed broccoli for supper. And a nice little snack of sugar free jello topped with lite cool whip (if you like jello works great for a sweets attack).

You've meet Simon, the other male of the species who resides in this corner of cyberspace. This is a great community with lots of cool people.
I'm not really on any plan myself, just made some dietary restrictions and am trying to get some exercise in when I can. For exercise it is mostly walking and some weights here and there.
You've made great progress already! I think you will find this place an interesting, fun, and supportive community.
