Default P90x

Hey, so i've seen a lot of success stories on youtube and talked to a few ppl who have used it online who swear by it. But i was wondering if anyone here had ever tried P90x or known anyone personally who has??

I'm looking to loose around 100-120lbs total, and want to use p90x as a good start. It'll either be the program, or a gym........what i like about p90x over a gym though is that there's structure!(which i know i do better with)

Also, for the diet plan on P90x.........does anyone know if i could follow it as a vegetarian!??

Thanks!

My brother and his wife got amazing results with P90x. He gave it to me, and holy crap I have never been so sore and sweaty after just one workout. I didn't stick with it because I didn't like it (I want to have fun during exercise...this is not fun) and you need to be able to dedicate around 1.5 hours a day to it, which with a child and a full time job, I can't commit. BUT if you do it, you will get incredibly fit.

I have read about vegetarians following P90x, just make sure you're getting enough proteins-your muscles are going to need it!!

I did P90x for about 4 weeks. It was very intense and hard to complete even half of it in the beginning. After a while I felt stronger and was feeling more toned but I did not lose very much weight (maybe 3 lbs), probably because I was gaining so much muscle. I had a workout partner so it was easier to make myself do it, but it did get old at times and the yoga workout was 90 minutes long. I would suggest that you get a gym membership to lose the first 80 or so pounds and use P90x for toning in the later stages. Just remember to lift weights at the gym as well as doing cardio! I think that P90x would yield great results!

I lost 15 lbs last year and got fit. I finished the program and I did like it. You have to be willing to suffer a little through the pain of sore muscles. It's not for everyone, but my recommendation is to watch clips on youtube of various programs.

Insanity is way worse though!
