Default Need advice on work out clothes.

What kind of sports bras do you big breasted ladies use? I'm trying to make sure I don't knock myself out with these things while working out lol. Any advice would be greatly appreciated .

I use Danskin brand from walmart, I like them. Something with thick straps. And it pretty much covers all of the boobs. The kind that feel padded in the front and are made of thick material all around.

I've seen those thinner ones that are in packs, I stay away, I can't see those giving much support. Or pretty much anything that looks like a regular bra.

Thank you DecemberSun I will look into those, and you are 100% correct about the ones in the packs they don't give any support whatsoever.

I always get something with full coverage, with under wire, and built for running (less bounce, more support). I also prefer the kind you have to hook in the back, not the front or anything that has to be pulled over the head. I don't care what brand it is. Regardless of what exercise I plan on doing (running, yoga, weight training, etc), I like the feel and support of this type of bra. Plus, I don't want to have to buy different bras for different activities.

I usually end up spending a chunk and some change on sports bras, as the ones I like tend to run on the expensive side. It's worth it if they last. I found some really nice ones at Kohls, and if you can get there on a sale day with a coupon and/or Kohl's cash, you're golden.

I'm going to have to check out those Danskins at Walmart! Thanks for that tip, DecemberSun!

I have only found one brand that works great for me. I use the "Ultimate Run bra" from Shock Absorber. I have two of them and they're the only ones I wear.

It's hard to find small band, large cup sized sports bras.

I like the Lululemon Tata Tamer II. It's pricey but good for bigger boobs. If I'm not jogging or jumping, I will wear a Danskin underwire sportsbra (from Walmart) and another bra top over that for more support and to tighten the one underneath because I can't find a smaller band in my cup size.

Count me in for the "double bra" solution.

I wear a normal underwire bra (madenform), and then a sports bra with a racer back (hanes) over the top. The hanes one doesn't have a hook and eye closure, so there's not a huge lump in the back of this getup lol.

It helps distribute the weight over 4 straps, and the band doesn't ride up this way.

Ok, I'm getting hot just thinking about doubled up bras.

Nothing over the head for me either - I feel like I'm strangling myself and then smashing my boobs in painful ways.

I like these the best for no jiggle and comfort: http://www.rei.com/product/769859/mo...aia-sports-bra

I adore the Panache sports bra - I can take my 34E girls running in it.

Not cheap, but so worth it in my book. I don't need another, but the new hot pink is calling my name.
