Well, Beachbella85 gave me the idea for this thread when she was looking for partners to do the 30 Day Shred with her in another thread. Then I thought, "wait, January has 31 days.... today is January 1st... if I started now... it works!!" that gives us one free day where we can miss our workout during the month and we could be done with it before February even rolls around! What a nice way to start the new year!
Of course, feel free to join us even if you're not planning on doing it every single day.
I made this thread for accountability, so we could log in every day and report our progress, and rant about how much we hate jumping jacks... (am i the only one???)
So please, if you wanna join us, post on this thread!
I actually got the idea for this thread right after reading Bella's post, but I was all "must... not... make the thread... until... I can... get myself outta bed". lol. so i did, and popped the DVD in, and man... i'd forgotten how hard it is the first time you do it!!! the jumping stuff kills me... jumping jacks plus jump ropes right after??? i die every single time. gah!! but i did it and am proud of myself, so yay!
um....Okay whatever, i don't mind posting on multiple threads...Today is actually an off day from shred for me...but that's pending the rain lets up because I'm supposed to do walk/run intervals on my days off....Also, Kawaii, I got the frontside/backside for beginners...ISH is killer, but on the sly...she's being all nice to you and stuff and so you think you aren't working out that hard but its a lie because I couldn't move when i finished it...lol...so p.s. if you get bored with shred or something to do in between...
Im down, i will totally join in on this! first day is officially complete! Although it was really difficult to keep up for me i still made it through the video.

I started on Saturday actually...and I still can barely walk! I think it was the jump rope that did it, but man are my calves ever sore! The abs are sore too, but I kind of like that feeling. Funny thing, my arms kill me during the work out, yet the day after it's the only part of my body not hurting!
L1D5 Done, It's getting a lot easier. I'm still out of breath when I finish but I definitely don't take the 5 second breaks any more. Lost another pound. I met my first goal of 265! I'm so happy, my reward for meeting the goal is getting my nails done! I'm going to get them done on sat.

Finished day 4! I worked out a bit later than I normally would, around 6 pm. I'm finding it quite hard to finish the workout without taking little breaks throughout, especially with the strength training. I hope by the end of this I will be able to do it from start to finish with no stopping!
CaliforniaDreamer: it's great that it's getting easier! i'm waiting for that! lol. and congrats on reaching 265!
Linkovicha: is it your first time to do the DVD? if so, then yeah, you should be able to do it with no breaks in a couple of days. don't give up!
man, you guys... it's thursday morning for me and i am SO sore... lol. mostly my butt and arms! waaaah... dunno how i'm gonna be able to work out tonight... but gonna try!!
btw, i notice CD put herr SW,CW,GW at the bottom of her post... i didn't set a goal for myself... what do you guys think is a realistic goal for doing 30DS for a month everyday? I'm afraid to set one cuz i'll be pissed if i don't reach it and my body tends to lose weight slowly...
