Cool I Made The Commitment

Well, I made the commitment to join the gym. I have been hesitant because I didn't want to go in with the New Years crowd. But i decided it's now or never to take advantage of the New Year packages. So I have committed to a gym that doesn't force a contract and I am allowed to give a 30 day notice to cancel if necessary. It's a great gym, which I was pretty nervous about going in to today. I got a pretty sweet deal, so I had to sign up just for how great the gym is. I think what I like most is it gives 3, 1 hour assessments and a trainer right away gives a workout program to best suit my ailments and my goals. It's a mini personal training session. I'm scared, but excited to go on this journey. 2013 is my transformation year. Time to love me.

good for you! gyms are expensive enough as it is so if you could get a good deal by joining at this time, then all the better!

just make sure you don't become part of that "new year crowd" that stops going once february rolls around

Way to rock it! That's so cool you get training sessions, I know with my gym membership I did not get that but got access to lots of free classes. Take advantage of the group classes, if you have the financial means. The group mentality creates great accountability, especially if you make friends there.

I LOVE this! I think this will be my mantra for the year. "It's time to love me!" I hope you also love the gym. It has become a part of my daily routine and it's truly a stress reliever.

Yes, I love the gym. I truly do. As I grew even more overweight I just got intimidated about going back. I went today and walked on the treadmill. I'm still taking in the insanity of this place. It's a little overwhelming to walk in. Today I found my 6 month goal, though. I'm pretty psyched for it!

It's a zombie apocalypse survival run! I will be training for this for 6 months!

That's an awesome motivator! I did a zombie run last October and it was a blast.
