Default Weight-in dissapointment...

I'm schedule to weight myself on 12/24 but since today the world is supposed to end I decided to jump on the scale after almost a month...

The good news is that I didn't gain. The bad news is that I am the exact same weight as I was a month ago despite going to the gym 4-5 times a week and sticking to a 1500 cal diet.

Yes, I have lost inches because some of the pants that would not fit me a month ago are now fitting just fine, but it is still a huge dissapointment not to see the scale bugde...

My next weight in is for 01/24/13 which would be my bday!! I haven't seen the 130's for at least 9 years and it would be nice to see at least 139.8 ha!!! But for the looks of it, I might have to starve myself in order to reach my goal...

I can totally understand being disappointed, BUT what does the number matter if you are SMALLER than you were a month ago!? Obviously you've lost fat, and that is what matters! I'd much rather that than to see a drop on the scale but not be seeing a difference inch-wise.

Like I said, I get it, I am scale focused (I weigh daily), but when you're working out a lot, sometimes it takes a little longer for the scale to reflect the fat loss.

Do you have any goals aside from the number? Like a pant size perhaps? Sometimes that helps.

YES ^ That....Waterweight has a tendency to stick around and mask actual fat loss...The scale is only one tool to see weightloss...YOU LOST INCHES...You are visiablly smaller...Thats what matters...

So proud... Keep up the amazing job...

My goal is a size 5 (yes, jr sizes haha) jeans with no stretch on them. I can almost fit into a size 5 right now but is hardly walking and laying on the bed to zip them up!

I guess once I can fit into those with no problem I'll be happy. Still sad not to see the number go down...

Size 5 is my goal because that was the last "normal" size I wore before having kids and gaining a lot of fast food weight

You are doing great! You will eventually get to your goal. I know it's hard, to be patient, as I would love to be 124lbs lighter, by my Birthday. Hang in there!

I truely believe that after the initial 10% loss or so, our bodies really begin to fight us to prevent any further weight loss... and of course the closer you get to your goal... the much more challenging it becomes...

My weight loss definitely happened in steps... With much more time than I would have liked stuck at a weight on the landing before heading down the next flight of stairs...
