Default Help. I'm officially of track.

Officially OFF track. :0((((((
I have been slowly letting myself cheat. I lost 92 pounds in a year and have been on maintainance about 2 months. Cheating is getting easier and easier. Today I made cookies with my daughter for her teachers and I must have eaten 6 or 7. (Not including the batter i indulged in!). Now I feel grose and terrible. This time last year I would not have let a morsel touch my lips! The scale has creaped
up 5 pounds too!
Any advice? Can anyone relate to what I am going through?
I feel disappointed. I need my willpower back!!!

I haven't been in this boat yet, but can imagine your pain! My coach says never let 5 pounds turn into 10 -- perhaps check in with your coach and get back on track by doing a week of phase 1 or phase 2, for example?

Hang in there--don't beat yourself up about it. It can happen to anyone--I myself am hallucinating about treats! Just start fresh from this moment forward. You can do it!

Well the first thing I suggest (in a nice meaning way!), get over it and get back to phase 1. Reboot for a couple weeks to get the added pounds off then phase out properly back to maintenance. Lastly keep coming back here for support. As I'm just approaching maintenance I'm reading more about others experiences and I've learned that the point of maintaining is not that you have to be perfect all the time. The point is to understand what you're doing and know how to reset when things go beyond the threshold you've set. As you said, you lost an amazing amount of weight the first time around so I know you can do it again for a few more pounds.

And if I'm in the same boat next year, I hope someone will remind me what i said to you!

Thank you for your comments. I think I will do a phase 1 day tomorrow and get back on track! Sometimes I wonder if the cheat days in maintainance do more harm then good?
