Default Preparing for Phase II

I finish with Phase I on 12/24. I'm already thinking of Phase II. I'm following the original South Beach Diet book, as I have a copy of it in my home. I've noticed that on the board, Phase II as two snacks and dessert as being optional. Is that the major difference between Super-charged and the Original? I get cranky when I don't eat six small meals, frankly. Anyone had success doing the three meals with no snacks? I'm just curious.

Thanks!

Bella

I eat when I am hungry and have never followed a set plan for snacks/meals set in the book.

I found that my eating schedule has changed alot since I first started SBD. When I originally started I found I needed to have more smaller meals or I'd get hungry inbetween. I think my blood sugar has really stabilized over the years and now I don't feel hungry at all inbetween meals and it seems my lifestyle is more geared towards 3 meals and an after dinner snack.

We're all different and I think you'll find what works for you. I did what worked for me as long as I was steadily losing weight. My first 6 months I averaged 2# per week although there were a few weeks inbetween where I didn't lose one week and lost more the next.

Best wishes! So glad you're back with us!
