Default Winter worries

Hey all!
Just wondering if anyone else is really struggling with motivation this winter? And if so (or not) what ways do you guys use to keep on track and stay motivated?
Loves! X

I just think about how much I will regret it in January if I really pig out and that helps me. If I have had a bad day I think to myself that as long as I don't go over 2000 calories then I won't gain weight and that stops me beating myself up. It is difficult when it is cold and you want a hot plate of food but you can always heat veggies and boiled rice up if you want!

well, i'm away from family so i will not have any kind of big party this month. that helps. i'm gonna have one big "christmas date" with my bf on the 26th, and i've told myself that i can have a cheat day on that day and just eat clean the rest of the time. i think that works well. if you plan a cheat ahead of time and make sure to limit yourself to just that day or that meal or whatever, you won't eat as much and you won't really gain either since you'll get right back on plan the next day.

good luck!

The problem for me is mainly that I'm not running as much. It's been almost two weeks now since my last run; I usually do three to five a week. I think it's too cold for running outside now and I haven't had the time to go to the gym due to my school work. But, one more week till vacation!

My problem is always when it's cold, I just want to cuddle up and stay warm. It is sooooo hard for me to wake up and , get moving on a chilly morning than a warm morning. I think that comes from being so used to the southern heat but that is always my pitfall. I am working super hard on it this winter though, because I constantly tell myself how much better I am going to feel once I work out, and I won't be heavier when the New Year starts and a mass amount of people will be starting fad diets to lose the extra weight they gained over the holidays.

Yeah I totally agree Pink Hurricane! The cold just makes me want to stuff my face haha! Having to put extra effort to be mindful about that x

I eat so much stew, soup, and chili over the winter that I always lose weight. It's just so comforting, naturally low carb and so easy to make low calorie. I just take them and freeze them in 1 or 2 cup containers after they cool a bit. 1 cup would be a breakfast or lunch serving, 2 cups would be a dinner.

I'm bad in the winter too. I'm trying to stay on track though by reminding myself of the fourish pounds I put on over finals and how I need to lose it and then some so if I decide to gain four pounds at the end of next semester, it won't be as damaging. That, and I really don't want to be about 10 lbs heavier than last January 1st. Right now I'm 6 over. Would love to make that 4 or less.

I'm struggling with exercise motivation. I just don't want to do it..
(It's too cold, it's too early, it's too dark outside, etc...)
