The Southern Chickies may be a bit ruffled this morning after that 4.5 earthquake just over the Georgia border. However, I'm sure they will be in here just as soon as they get the Big Hair in place. :D

Lovely morning here! I had my coffee on the deck - it was a bit cool but I had on a warm robe. The Girls love it when I'm outside with them. They show off just like kids! Liver muffins for breakfast for them as Lucy has decided to be a picky eater! I guess liver muffins are low carb - want the recipe?

I've moved the biography thread from FAQ into this Forum. Would everyone please edit their bio as needed and add your bio if you have not already done so. Good suggestion, Pooky!

Off to the Greenhouse this morning for 8 but need to sweep my floors before then. Gardening season means more dirt as well as the ever present fluff from my alleged non-shedding dogs! (I wonder if I could spin it and make nice furry black mittens.)

I live in Georgia about 15 miles from the center of the earthquake which woke us up this morning about 5:00 A.M. I am originally from California and lived about 80 miles from San Francisco when so many freeways collapsed and houses burned down and thought I was very use to them, but this one was really different and made a lot of noise, but at least so far no reports of damages or anyone hurt. Off for my walk of the day. Hope everyone has a good one. Caci

I have to hurry and use as much water as possible over the next hour since my well man comes today!!! He's even picking us up a new well lid since ours has completely degraded over time. It will be so nice to have silt-free water.

On another happier note, Home Depot's grand opening here in Bracebridge is set for next week! YIPPEEEE!!!!!! We are buying our water softener/water heater from there and going to do the payment plan thingy. All we can do since the inaws arrive in a scant 4 1/2 months! (Gasp! is it really just that long till fall??)

Well, up here in Ohio the Big Hair is still in place...well as much as usual anyway:)

I am officially on Day 2....yesterday was a sucess in that I stayed under 20 carbs, and drank, drank, drank my water--yipee:D I even took a short walk, to boost my energy. I am praying day 2 goes as well. I think I took in more calories than I should have, I ate all day!

L--have fun playing golf today, you will be a sweaty mess! 85 degrees, I would be in my air conditioning.:lol:

Kind of a slow day around here dontchya think? Busy Busy little bees I guess!
So far so good today, and only 1 meal left to go:cool: we are having ribs and fried potatos for them and brocolli for me. I had one snack attack today, curbed it with cream cheese/ranch dip on celery:D pretty darn good if you ask me!

It's a warm 70 degrees here tody--hey BTW where has ol' Taz been? I miss her daily pie:stress: where are ya Taz? Vacation?

Well, DD just got home from school, so I gotta listen to her daily chatter!

Well i won closest to the pin on the par 3, I won $50!!!! It was so beautiful out, I got some sun and I am feeling good. i do need to get in some exercise today so I will walk durring primetime tv.

First good OP day in awhile. I went to the gym last nite, and walked for an hour today, so I'm happy! Glad to hear everyone's weather is getting springlike!
