I don't see it either. The only thing that confirms to me that I've lost weight is my clothing getting too big/fitting into a smaller size. The scale, mirror, and measuring tape don't seem to "register" in my mind.

I have the same problem. I have no idea how I look. I weighed 198 lbs, but the scale said that I weighed about 20 lbs less and I actually believed it. :/ I can only understand that my wrist is getting smaller for whatever reason...

I feel the same way. I guess I thought I would look slimmer. So I always question the scale.

I can't tell I lost weight either, even when people ask me how I did it and how much I lost.

The only thing I DID notice in the mirror was one less double-chin lol, so that is definitely a good thing.

The best measurement for me is my clothes. And I do a fashion show in my closet about every 3 weeks to see how close I am to moving down a size. It's both depressing and fun (if that makes any sense)!

It's still hard for me...and I hit my goal a year ago!

I really see it when I get ahold of one of my old clothes or look at pictures

Its such a weird way to measure progress anyway. I am not as light as I was a few months ago, but I look better and my clothing fits in spite of being up about 8 pounds.

Weight training will do that... but also silly things like water retention which can mask losses and things of that nature really make the scale irrelevant IMO.

Besides, I know it's said all the time but who really cares what the scale says? People don't see a number when they look at your body!

And the fact you look RIPPED ;p.

I know how you feel! I try and look at my before and after picture to remind myself of how far I have come. But sometimes I still feel like I still have the mindset of the girl in the before picture - I feel fatter than I am!
