I love this challenge because I'm very close to goal but I'm going to Cancun on Valentines Day and this will help me maintain until then. My plan is to hit goal in a few weeks, then enter 0 0 0 0 all the way to Feb 14.

2/week is NOT a slow loser! IP has removed the 3-5 weekly average loss from their new printed materials (to avoid difficulty with US FDA). It is time for us to start celebrating ALL losses and remember that we are losing weight QUICKLY! More typical weight losses on most diets are closer to .5/week or less!
Losing 1% of your body weight in a week is FAST loss!

FYI: I'm not singling you out. I've had to change my attitude, as well. 3-5 lbs/week is INSANE. It really was calculated over a short period, averaging in that large first week. Although some people can do it, the folks who don't are NOT slow losers and are made to feel like it (or worse, like cheaters) at some IP "clinics".

Right now on your signature, you are averaging 4/week. NOTHING slow about that!

That would be awesome indeed! I would be under my wedding weight. We got married on 7/7/07 and I have not been that light since then. I'd still be 35 lbs from goal but that really sounds close right now!

A little late, but I'm in! I added my stats to the spreadsheet, and with my 3.8 loss this week we are officially over 100 lbs for week 1!:carrot:

So excited about this challenge. If I can do it, it will take me to goal!

I'm not sure how many weeks you've been doing IP, but weeks with no losses (or even slight gains) are expected on the plan. Did you lose some inches this week? Not all losses are measured on the scale
What is there to celebrate?
Did you stay 100% on plan?
We can bring ourselves down or build ourselves up.

I didn't cheat, but because of xmas shopping, not feeling well one day, and a big family party/dinner yesterday my eating schedule was really off. Two of the last 3 days I've eaten a combined lunch/dinner in the mid afternoon rather than a veggie lunch and then a veggie/lean protein dinner. This week I should be back on a regular schedule, except for next Saturday....not 1 but 2 parties to go to! Will be happy when the festivities are over.

Have logged my meager loss into the tracker :(

There are no "only"s in weight loss
Celebrate your weight reduction and move on!
Anything can cause the scale to slow down a bit...and look at your overall average weight loss and do a happy dance!

Just realized I'll be gone for two weeks, and without a scale. I may have to buy one just to keep track! :o I'm not too concerned about staying OP as it's really been pretty easy so far and I'll have total control over the cooking on most meals. I've already started packing my food for the trip. My next 'official' weigh in won't be until January 9!

I'm so frustrated--I've only lst 0.7 for the past 2 weeks! If the scale isn't moving by Mon, I think that I'm going to bootcamp until my WI next week. I guess that I should be grateful for any amount of loss considering it was Christmas week, so I'll stop complaining and start looking forward to greater loss next week. Congrats to everyone for their terrific results this week!

Had a gain of .6 lbs this week, but a loss of 2% in body fat. I'm going to pretend my Omron body composition scale is 100% acurate, because I love to see the big drop in body fat.

I had a very active day Friday, so I was expecting a low loss. I'm still sore.

Looking forward to a woosh next week!

I don't get to weigh til I get home 1/7. My friend's scale in FL weighs WAY HEAVY and I have no idea what I weigh (shoulda weighed when I first got here to "callibrate" to my clinic's scale)
Oh well...this diet is ALL ABOUT delayed gratification...I just get a little more!

Woohoo! Have I said lately that I *love* this diet? I actually forgot to weigh myself first thing this morning like normal, so I figured I'd record my WI tomorrow morning instead. Hoping for more progress! Once I lose three more pounds or so I'll be lower than I've been in probably 15 years or so. Nothing I've tried until now has worked so well. :carrot:

It works if you just stick with it! (And amazingly, even on vacation!)

UTA: Down another 2.4 this week and I've finally broken the 150 pound barrier! On a side note, I'm still thrilled I was able to find the exact same scale in a store here that I use at home! It's definitely helped knowing that I'm still on track while I'm on vacation.

Sometimes when I enter mine, I just close it and come back to it. It recalculates when I return..
Hope that helps!

Edit: I noticed you don't have your total weight you want to lose column filled out. Fill that out and it should work!

Got back from WI about an hour ago. Six lbs! Woot!

I've decided to try alternatives since they are cheaper and a get the must valuable information here instead of through of through the clinic. I officially weigh in tomorrow but my scale says I've lost another 7.5 pounds and I weigh 155 today. This is definitely the easiest diet I've ever been on. Thanks for all the help through your post.

So, as of the end of the 5th week. Fishette has surpassed her goal by 2lbs, and bubblelower has achieved over 50% of their weight loss goal!

Down 0.4 this week. Have been taking a diuretic and concurrent potassium supplement for a few years due to excessive water retention with my menstrual cycle. Last week potassium dropped too low so had to stop the diuretic. Had some rebound water retention last week, but seems to have settled down now. Hopefully it won't be too bad going forward.

FINALLY! After weeks of pathetic numbers, I got a 6.2 pound loss this week. The whoosh! I am at 15 pounds, so won't hit the 30 pound goal, but every little bit gets me closer to my ultimate goal (which I just lowered by 10 pounds because, let's be honest, that's what I was shooting for anyway!).

I've got 7.8 pounds to complete the challenge - and to get to my goal weight!! It's going to be close but at the rate that I lose I expect that I'll need a bit more than the two weeks left to get there. But that's fine with me; the key is getting to goal. :carrot: Now that I'm close, I'm also starting to think that I may want to move my goal weight down a bit.

Down .9 this week, but *lots* of inches! Before I got on the scale the coach said not to be surprised if I didn't drop a lot of weight since I had lost so much in inches, so I was quite happy losing almost a pound. I figure the odds aren't great that I'll lose the last 6.9 pounds in one week, but I'll keep plugging away! I figure I should be at or close to goal by the time I come home from vacation in a few weeks. I got a copy of the Phase 2 sheet today in case I'm ready to start phasing off while I'm away. :carrot:

All week, I've been seeing the same number on the scale at my morning weigh-in, so I wasn't expecting to meet this challenge. Yesterday, I finally saw some movement and today I was 2.2 lbs down from last week...exactly enough to hit 30 lbs for this challenge!
