Default Your tricks to being full

What are they?

I'm trying to get a smaller tummy and trying to train my tummy into eating less.. Im at a pretty nice weight but I can guarantee you that I eat waaay too much. i used to eat way less when I first dropped the 30, and now Im finding it hard to get back into it cos im ALWAYS hungry.

Back then, coffee was my lifesaver. Id eat enough, then drink some coffee and was full. Now, I cant have any more caffeine for health reasons so Im looking for another fix!

What do you guys do?
(Oh and i know veggies really help, I guess I was looking for more creative ideas)

This is why God created decaf. It's the only thing that really works for me, it also keeps me busy and satisfies the need to be putting something in my mouth without racking up the calories.

Well more veggies would be the first option but I'm wondering why you're so hungry all the time? What sort of food are you eating? Maybe more fats and protein would make you feel more satisfied.

Other than that I guess decaf or herbal teas.

I do a few things that help me feel fuller on less calories...and I say less calories because I'm actually eating more volume... I'll have low calorie broths and soup based meals, large green leafy salad based meals with enough lean protein and healthy fats in it to meet my needs... Also sometimes I'll use a fiber supplement 15-20 minutes before a meal which really helps cut down on how much I eat and helps me feel full much sooner than without it...

I've found for me the key to feeling full and more satisfied on less calories is getting enough protein, some healthy fats, and as much fiber in a meal with out sending the carbs out of the ballpark at each meal... Not always easy... But I'm working on it...

I second decaf. I've been trying to cut down on my caffeine intake, so I've switched to one cup of regular coffee a day (if at all), and decaf whenever I'm craving coffee or something warm in general.

Great suggestions... herbal teas, hot or cold, diet drinks, plain soda water with a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime, etc. Would gum chewing help? Low cal broth based soups before mealtimes is supposed to help.

My best trick (and it's not perfect) is being busy. If I have a lot of work to do, I don't notice hunger as much.

I like eating things high and fiber and protein. I cook a bunch of grilled chicken on the weekend and snack on that during the week if Im hungry. I also like fiber one bars & brownies lol ^_^ They have a bit too much sugar (<10g) but they r delish and fill me up!

Personally, I count calories. So I try and eat A LOT for breakfast or early lunch. I'll even have like a chipotle burrito bowl for an early lunch. I find though it has a lot of calories, it keeps me full all day so I can have a light dinner and stay w/in my calories ^_^

Problem w/ chipotle is it's a bit too much salt :S

Also crystal light! When I get bored of water I drink crystal light. It's tasty so I don't mind drinking it and after 2 full water bottles of it Im stuffed haha ^_^

Bran cereal in the morning is helping my satiety. I mix 3/4 All bran style cereal with 1/4 muesli. With a fruit snack that keeps me full until lunch.
Have some tea or water throughout the day. It's weird, a few years ago I used to try and have low sugar snacks frequently and felt hungry all the time. Now I have got rid of those snacks I feel less hungry.
Someone above said almonds, I second that. Almonds are a great snack
