*Lots of pics included*

Hello! I post on another fitness weight loss board too so I apologize if anyone has already seen my pictures before. I've been a long time lurker and finally made an account on 3FC (love it!).

I am 5 foot 5 and was 175 lbs at my highest weight. I literally gained like 50 pounds in university it was so sad...I dealt with stress by eating at restaurants alot (I'm a huge foodie person) and the more I gained the worse I felt about myself. As you can tell, I'm one of those unfortunate people who gain all their weight on their stomach!!!

It took me about 7 months to lose 47 lbs to my low weight of 128 lbs. I maintained for about a year then gained 25 lbs back...then lost it AGAIN which took me a few months to do. I ate approx 1200 - 1500 cals a day and did light to moderate exercise (walking, gym occasionally when I could fit it in) and tried to eat "clean" most of the time...I've been maintaining at 128 - 130 ish for about 8 months now.

I lost 5.5 inches around EACH thigh going from 27.5 in to 22 in. I lost 7 inches around my stomach going from 35 to 28 in. I lost 5.5 inches around my chest and 6 inches around my hips too!

Anyways, here are a few of my pics...thought some people might be motivated or something!

The 3rd pic is an awful bikini pic that convinced me to finally lose some weight - first of all it looks awful because I had borrowed it off a friend and it was like 5 sizes too small to start with lol and the skirt doesnt match it was just a beach cover up skirt. Ewww

Thanks for taking the time to read my journey :)

So...I am up 18 pounds since my post...been eating junky lately and figured no better time to start eating better than today! I think its the combo of working night shifts and the winter which has caused me to majorly slack off...hopefully it wont take long to lose again

I'm struggling to lose again... I'm back up to 145 lbs. I still look '' okay''but I know that if I gain anymore I'm going to start looking a bit chubby. I feel my best in the low 130s or so approx. I'll get there! I was doing so good for a long time and just got into a more processed food cycle... You know how THAT goes! Once you start you feel so crappy and then it's a vicious cycle of eating junk and feeling even worse. I'm kicking off w just eating really clean and using my vitamix to make fresh veggie and fruit juice blends to supplement... I feel so much better already! I was putting it off for awhile and then something snapped in me. Why am I treating my body like a garbage can? I can do this!!!

You look amazing!!! Sorry to hear about the gain, but at least you are catching it only a few pounds up! I lost over a 100 pounds, and then gained back 60 of it before I stopped myself. Ugh. Still working on losing that same weight again, lol. Way to catch yourself before you end up in my shoes, ;)

Congrats! I can see myself in your lost since we are the same height, and your starting weight is what I weigh now. I have been at a stall for too long. I need to start working harder to reach my goal weight.

Thanks for the inspiration!

You are just under my goal and I started about 10lb lighter than you so this is hugely motivational. You should be so proud of yourself, you transformed your body so beautifully!

Ugh. I feel your pain and frustration. At times I treat my body like a garbage can too and I don't know why! It sounds like you've got the right attitude now to eat clean. (I drink lots and lots of water with lemon after crappy eating.)

Congratulations on your journey! You still have a lot to be proud of! Yes! You can do this!

You can do this you have done it before...and that's WHY you hate it now you know what it feels like to be thin. It will take work but not THAT much.
I too had lost the same amount and let myself gain 30lbs. This last Dec 27 I decided to JUST DO IT! And snap back seriously with tracking everything and cutting out known offenders. By the end of Feb I was almost to my goal Now 5 months later I am at 124. MY WHOLR closet fits again HAPPY DANCE!!!!
YOU CAN DO IT!!! Dedication ,determination and discipline.

That is AWESOME. do you know how long you were working out for each day and how many calories you were burning??
I need to lose about the same amount haha xD
also how were you keeping track of the calories you ate?

If you were asking me, I track on MY FITNESS PAL, both exercise and food.
I exercise nearly everyday, but I LOVE IT..I was a couch potatoe that did nothing and started with like 2 min on the elliptical...but TODAY I would have to say I am VERY fit. I have done it all with DVD's and started running at 59 1/2. And fell head over heals for it. I exercised through my entire weight gain time which was about a year and a half. BUT since weight loss have been hitting my weights and running mostly. I eat at maitence about 1900 calories a day total.
If you go on MFP I am divaindy friend me with a note you can see my exercise and food. and pictures.
