Default Bra help. New size.

Hi everyone. So I've lost a band size. Technically, I wear a 36 G. But I would have to spend like $40 of a bra on clearance to find that size. So I am trying to find a 36DDD with enough room in the cup so I don't have quadruple boob. Lane Bryant's sale is amazing right now.

My question is.. How many bras should I buy? Currently, I only have 1 bra in my correct size. But I am hoping as I lose weight I will lose cup size. So I don't think I should stock up but 1 is just not cutting it... Any advice?

Honestly, I'd buy one bra that fits you well, rather than 2 or 3 that are okay. YMMV, but for me, it's totally worth it.

I'd buy at least 2 which fit which you can alternate, but I would buy cheap ones so I'm not wasting my money every couple of months when I need new ones.

Try brastop.com or figleaves for sale stuff in your proper size. Try the sale sections! I think brastop have half price shipping until midnight tonight. You should be able to take in the band a little while you're losing so they should last a little bit longer.

Thanks everyone. I'm getting ready to check the sites. And my mom agrees with everyone saying I should get 2 more so I have a total of 3.

Hey since we are on the topic, has anyone been measured professionally for a bra? Where did you get it done?

Macy's is a good place. If you have a torrid or a lane bryant they are pretty good about it too. I have heard that Victoria's Secret girls are actually trained to fit. Though, I have never been able to wear them so Idk. I used to work at Torrid and that was one of the first things I learned to do. Though, when I went to the Gap and was trained the trained me in a completely different way and their method is off.

If you're going to be in the area, getting it done in store is great. But if you have a fabric measuring tape you can do it yourself.

this should help:

Regarding quantity, I'd say at least 2, if you plan to work out in them as well. If you get a bra that you have to put on the loosest hooking, as you lose weight (or the band relaxes) you can just move the hooks in tighter.

I have found that Kohl's has a good selection of larger cup sizes, at least when there's still a "D" in the cup. I have this bra here, in a 38DD, and it is the most comfortable bra I have ever owned. When I get down to my goal weight, I anticipate being a 32 or 34 band, and either a DD or DDD, like I was before I gained weight. I've worn nothing but Vanity Fair bras since I hit a D, which was around age 15, so they've not failed me yet in almost 10 years. And they're very reasonably priced!

Fair warning.... there are 4 hooks, so you'll be locked up tighter than Fort Knox, but it's super comfortable!

haha. Penmage: I am used to feeling locked up like fort knox. At my highest I was a 38 H and they only make prison bras. I've never seen above a dd at kohls. hmm I'll have to check it out.
