I work as a waitress, so I am always walking around, lifting and carrying things for 8+ hours on a shift. I agree with EricAnn that while I'm glad I have a job which lets me move around, I don't consider it actual exercise. After all of these years, my body has become used to those long shifts, and now I don't lose weight at all if I just work and don't exercise beforehand.
I'll be honest, when I was bigger, my feet and knees used to hurt after a long shift, but now I have no body aches or physical exhaustion by the end. Mental exhaustion after dealing with crazy guests all day, though, that's another story!
