One word...Yum! It's new, my coach told me it was really good and she was so right...just like a smoothie. Of course, it's collagen, so I can only have it every other day, but it's my new favorite drink!
I hope everyone has a great weekend...send me will power dust, because we will be at my in-law's all weekend. I've told my mother in law what I am doing, and warned her I'd be bringing my own food and she shouldn't be offended. She is super cool, and totally understands...even asked if her son is doing it with me! (He needs to, but he chose not to go this route.) But still...it will be hard not to eat what everyone else is eating. And I just found out that some of my father-in-law's family will also be there, so that might mean more people wondering why I'm eating "weird' (they are meat and potato men all the way!)

It took my dh about 6 months to join me. By then I was we'll into maintenance, but reverted back to phase 1 with him. He is so glad now. But sometimes it takes longer to get to the point where you want to do ip...

My coach didn't tell me. The SB was collagen. I'll be double-checking this.
I first heard about IP 9 mo before I started. It takes whatever it takes but I knows success is all in your head so head must be "on straight" to succeed. I decided in June I was starting after vacation. I started first day back.
I don't know what you guys are talking about with the collagen either. Of course, I learn WAY more from you than my coach...I have the raspberry jello a lot. Is that supposed to be every other day too?

My coach didn't say anything about monitoring the frequency of the strawberry banana drink. However with the Raspeberry jello and blueberry Pom drink, they are considered incomplete proteins and shouldn't be counted as one of your three daily packets or had more than every other day. They provide some protein like collagen which can help do things like prevent hair loss on IP and firm the loose skin caused by weight loss. I tend to use these packets on days when I'm hungry and feel I need a little extra based on my activity that day.
Each coach may have different opinions on this. I know mine did some added research through IP on this after I heard comments about it on 3FC.

Rasp jello and blu/cran/Pom are collagen packets & incomplete proteins. According to my coach, to be used as an additional packet every-other day. I have an email in to my coach inquiring about the strawberry banana RTD, to see if is a collagen drink as well or if it is a typical protein RTD.
Okay, my coach just confirmed.
The Strawberry-Banana RTD is a full protein "packet".
The only collagen (partial protein) packets are the raspberry jello and the blu/cran/pom (and only have those as an extra packet, every-other day)
Thanks, Lisa - picked some up today and looking forward to trying it! Been sticking with the same 3 products, mostly, and looking for something different.
Sorry if I was wrong about the SB drink being collagen. My coach told me it was, and it is also listed as collagen on the order sheet that my clinic uses. Isn't it so weird that sometimes different clinic and coaches have different answers for questions? Well, it's good news to me if it's not collagen! I could have it everyday, except it's a little pricey! :-)

From the ingredients list, I saw both collagen AND whey listed.
So, it does provide collagen for those looking for that benefit yet it can be called a full protein (but likely less than the full amount of grams listed).
Might explain why different clinics are looking at it different ways.
You'd think the IP corporate would be clearer on what it is.
I bet you could have it every day without too much harm. If you picked it for all 3 IP products each day, it would likely leave you a little light on protein.
I always wonder what drives the new products, what is available from the manufacturers or what IP requested they create, or some mysterious combination.
