I'm a thirty-two year old working mom living in Massachusetts. I've always been on the plump end of the scale. My lowest weight as an adult was 148 lbs. Currently the scales are tipping at 194 lbs. My ultimate goal is to reach 135 lbs. Right now that seems like an impossibility.
I was hoping to find some encouraging and sympathic souls out here.
Welcome, Welcome, Welcome Everybody here is great. I've only been doing this a couple of weeks, but the people here are why I haven't quit yet. Usually I would have quit about a week into it. The best thing to do is find a thread you like and just jump right in. We're all in this together. Good luck!!!!

There are soooooooo many support groups and so many different forums to choose from. READ them ALL and when you feel like you have found one that fits you and your needs... just jump right in. Everyone here is great and they will all welcome you with open arms.
Feel free to join our Queen Victoria thread...we are a group that plan goals around upcoming holidays, and just started one that ends May 19th, Victoria Day. We're a chatty bunch and always like to see new faces!
