Was out of circulation yesterday, read all the posts.

Congrats to Kay for getting into the 170s.
mompatti - Congrats on taking the decision to go back to a coach, glad it worked for you and congrats on losing 12.5 pounds. that is awesome.

i finally got into size 4 pants. I have 20 pounds to go. I wear size 10 tops, so it's a lopsisded look. All my weight is above my waist. All tummy, boobs and arms. I look like sponge bob square pants.

Hoping that every pound I lose now will be either from my tummy or my boobs. Please no more from the bottom.

Really not into looking like Dolly Parton. I would like to go from mellons to marbles.

I gained last week 0.6 pounds. Coach asked me not to workout, since I go crazy with my workouts and not to weigh myself at all.

I did freak out last week, I have always gotten to 136.6 and gained back up to 150. I got to 137.2 and freaked out.

So I am going to trust in my coach and do all the right things.

Happy Friday!
Hope everyone had a safe week, we are getting back into the swing of things after Halloween and the storm. Just in time to start gearing up for the winter holidays! (round and round we go!)

Congrats to all the AMAZING weigh ins yesterday - the whoosh fairy was sure making her rounds this week! Maybe she wanted us to have the motivation to stay on plan for Thanksgiving

That being said, I think I have a pretty good plan for turkey day so I don't have to feel deprived:
-LizRR's Mushroom, celery & garlic puree for my "gravy"
-A small batch of mashed cauliflower for me
-MIL is going to make sure there is steamed zucchini and broccoli for me
-LOTS of fresh roast turkey breast!
-Sweet "fauxtato" pie for my dessert
-a WLS Cheesecake packet just in case I'm in need of another dessert fix later in the day

I'm going to see how I feel, if I'm not too hungry I'll just save up my 4 cups veggie for the turkey dinner. If I go over on the veggies, I'm not going to sweat it too much for that day, better to have extra veggies than to dive into the stuff I can't have! I will miss sharing a glass of wine or two with the family, but it will all be there next time (wuv...I can hear you!)

What a Thanksgiving plan, Scorbett! Mine is much the same, altho I'm adding lots of lettuce to the day to try and make sure I don't go over in veggies. But you are right. There are MANY worse things to get into on a holiday. As we both know, it is ALL in the planning.

We will be joining friends. My family is out-of-state and hubby is estranged from dysfunction. I'm already part of the menu planning

Good morning everyone. I had my 8th WI yesterday and lost 2 lbs. I now have 5-7 lbs more to go. I am hoping to be in Phase 2 by Thanksgiving. I need to talk to relatives and find out where we are having Thanksgiving and then come up with a plan. I was thinking about phasing off for the holiday but since I am so close my coach is encouraging me to stick it out!

Hope everyone has a great and successful weekend

Getting my daily IP fix!

Congratulations to all that lost and hit goals!

I'm starting to think of Thanksgiving as well. I usually cook, so I get all the control Have to figure out what to do for me. I'll miss sipping the wine the most, but we'll save that for next year!

It's been 4 weeks and I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of this! I did an unofficial weigh-in today and I'm down 25 lbs in almost 4 weeks. I told myself in the beginning, I would try it for 4 weeks and see what happens. Well, lets just say I've been converted. I've had such great success on this, I just can't stop now. Another 4 weeks here I come!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Good Morning, everyone. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and weekend. I will be going to my Mom and Dad's this weekend for a fall festival. Before IP, any diet I was on was always sabotaged when I went to my parents or in-laws because there were always so many good things to eat. But not this time! I planning for success not failure. After losing 20+ lb. I am so motivated. My husband and I are planning a trip to Maui when we reach goal. He is very close to his goal, but it will take me just a little longer. It's our 20th anniversary ,April 2013, so I'm hoping to be at goal by then.
