Smile Day Two AND it's Friday Night! Eeeek!

Hi all.

Day Two of my diet and it's Friday night...end of the working week when I always wanna let myself go. Plus the boyfriend offered to buy a take-away. I stayed strong though and said no and just eaten a delicious weight watcher meal! Granted a chinese would of tasted even better but I would have felt guilty afterwards.

I just need to complete a week so I know I can do it when I put my mind to it and then hopefully carry on! Hard part will be after the week is over and I treat myself too much and go and ruin everything I achieve in the week (hopefully). Will cross that bridge next week when I come to it though.

Just need to get over the weekend when it normally means treat time!

xx

I'm not in the UK but....

When I want something chinesey, I usually stir fry up veggies with a light sauce and serve it over steamed cabbage.

I also sub steamed cabbage for rice when having curried pork and veggies.

There's no reason you can't have delicious meals and maybe a glass of wine to enjoy your weekend.

Hi Karen, how is the weekend going?

Mmm Chinese. I've only eaten Chinese restaurant food twice since I started losing weight, and despite making wiser choices each time, I literally could not believe the subsequent sodium bloat it gave me. The amount of salt is insane in 'UK Chinese'.

I steer clear of it now. As the above poster said, homemade alternatives are much better and you can find ways to make lower calorie dishes to suit you.

Why not give it a go next Friday?
