cormandy, wow, you are so close! It won't be long!!

10-21-2012, 04:31 AM
I messed up with my eating so bad today ill probably be in here another week now lol :(

Edit .. I am really disappointed in myself for letting myself do this again I'm trying to avoid loose skin as much as possible and I know this constant yoyoing is adding to that problem and ruining my skin more so as of right now I'm tempted to starve myself for a week to make up for it but I know that's not good either and from past attempts only keeps the yoyo cycle going and no real progress so as of right now I vow to not cheat anymore on my diet and only eat fruits veggies meat and limited healthy carbs no fast food will go past my mouth no junk food or unhealthy snacks either like anything sugary or chips only making healthy choices from now on whatever it takes. I need this weight off in a year also to avoid more loose skin so it must be done no more cheating!!!

Probably what a lot of u already do but I have a very hard time not cheating I usually only keep up my good eating for a week at most then eat something stupid ill make a 20 day challenge to begin with just so I can make sure I make it that long and go from there

Hi everyone!

going2be, hang in there. Trust me, you are NOT the only one who messes up now and then! Only thing to do when we do that is pick ourselves back up and get going again! You have lost a huge amount of weight so obviously you are doing things right!! Hang in there!

10-21-2012, 10:17 AM
Good morning ladies - I just popped into this thread this morning 249.5. So glad to be here with you guys, and ready to keep moving on down.

Thanks misti makes me wonder if I didn't sabotage myself on purpose or something never thinking u will see that number on the scale and then when you do seems too good to be true and u get more lenient on yourself I need to stop doing that I really am making this weight loss take much much much longer than it should ill get right back on track though again

Good luck everybody keep it up!

Good morning, everyone.

Well, I dropped two pounds this morning, yay!!!! Definitely on the downhill side now of making it out of this thread!!

10-22-2012, 02:51 PM
Scale says 240 today so didn't do as much damage as I thought at least can't wait to get out of here once again

Keep it up misti yay we will get there soon

10-22-2012, 03:45 PM
haha yeah i went to say hi when i was in the 30s now im back here again lol gonna make sure i don't come back this time

10-22-2012, 03:57 PM
I'm not quite to the 240's yet, but I was reading through your thread. I just wanted to tell goingtobskinny that you shouldn't be so hard on yourself. You have lost so much in a short time. I started on Atkins last July and I've only lost about 75 pounds. For the past couple of months I did nothing but gain and lose the same few pounds, so now I'm doing WW. This is only my 7th day but I've lost a little over 3 pounds so I'm glad the scale is moving again and hope I'll be in the 240's soon. Just keep up the good work!

Hi mandydawn... glad you stopped by. Congrats on your loss... you'll be here soon.

And I agree going2be you are being a bit hard on yourself. :) Actually once I get out of here I will NEVER come back just because the scale bounces up a bit temporarily.... LOL once I hit that lower number I count it and keep going!!!

10-23-2012, 11:10 AM
Hooray! The weight loss continues. 248.4 this morning. I guess i'm not going to sabotage myself. Let's keep rollin' ladies.

alright thanks mandy and misti ill try to be easier on myself :D Hope you get here soon Mandy keep it up as well. Congrats Quantum!!

10-23-2012, 08:15 PM
Everyone is just doing so great. :) I'm staying steady for the last day or so at 249.5, hoping to get down a little this week, but not having time to exercise during lunch this week. I'll just have to be extra vigilant with my eating this week.

10-29-2012, 12:45 AM
Just checking in on you guys. Come on Misti!! Keep up the good work! We're waiting for you on the next thread! LOTS of gals in that one. Prolific posters too!

I'm glad that I found these threads. I had been just in 1 other one--not too much action (although I have gotten to be internet friends with those gals--they are great--and have all met their goals!). It's nice to be in the forums where people are going through the same struggles at the same time as I am! Easy to relate to them. To me a size 18 is a beautiful thing! To someone in a size 6 it's like a nightmare! I need to be able to relate!

Hope to see you all soon in the 220-230's thread!

Misti in Seattle
10-29-2012, 01:31 AM
Thanks 2times! I am going crazy wanting to graduate to the next thread... in fact I have gone over there and read it all LOL. I can't believe it took me 11 days to lose this pound!!

10-29-2012, 07:19 AM
I'm back - yahoo! After massively overeating on vacation, I weighed in at 249.4 this morning.

I wish I could figure out why I use vacations and special occasions as excuses to overeat. I went to bed half-sick every night I was away, but still thought of all the great things I was going to eat the next day. It got to the point that I was dreaming about coming home so I could eat and feel better. Why didn't I just eat sensibly then? I wish I knew.

Congrats to everyone doing so well!

Misti in Seattle
10-29-2012, 09:02 AM
Hi Brandnewday. Sorry about your messing up, but don't beat yourself up too badly! It is so easy to overeat on vacations. We will successfully makie it out of this thread! Just have to keep going!

I weighed in at 242 again this morning so will be content with that -- glad at least it did not go up. I want out of here sooooooooooooo badly LOL

10-29-2012, 01:30 PM
oooo your so close Misti keep it up :D  Can't wait to see you in the other thread.

10-30-2012, 07:08 AM
247 this morning. I'm ecstatic, needless to say :carrot:. I've got no worries about Halloween tomorrow, so it looks like smooth sailing for a while!

Misti in Seattle
10-30-2012, 07:49 AM
Thanks, going2b! Have to admit, right now I don't feel I am ever going to make it... but I know I will. Just have to keep going when I am seeing very little results!

10-30-2012, 08:21 PM
I've been bouncing up and down in the 240s.

I just came hope from a yoga retreat that was really wonderful to hurricane sandy. I'm in NYC, lucky to have power, but I will tell you last night, seeing all of the water flowing on the streets was pretty scary!!

So, moving on and hopefully out of the 240s soon!

Misti in Seattle
10-30-2012, 10:03 PM
Hi Beth... so glad that you are safe!!!

10-31-2012, 11:41 AM
I'm 244.6 this morning. I'm a little concerned about all the water weight I gained on vacation, and a lot concerned that the "easy" loss is going to stop soon and I will be deep in the grind.

Misti, you almost have it licked! Keep up the good work!

BethC, I'm glad you are safe. The pictures do look really scary, and what a relief to have power!

Let's keep it up, everyone!

10-31-2012, 11:30 PM
^^ thank you!! It's going to be a long time until things are back to "normal" here.

What's frustrating me is that I came home from the retreat all focused and calm and now I'm back to where I was before I went. I have to work on this, stress is not a reason to eat!!

11-01-2012, 06:43 AM
I'm 245 this morning. Oh, well - I stayed on plan yesterday, this is just a blip on the screen.

11-01-2012, 09:12 AM
Hi all

Well, here I am still here! There is absolutely NO reason I should not be losing since I am most definitely not overeating. Oh well... I just have to stick it out.

Hope to see ALL of us in the 230s thread soon. Eventually we will get there

11-03-2012, 06:48 AM
I weighed 243.8 today, which means I have officially lost 10% of my body weight! I hear that even losing 10% is so good for you, and I do feel lots better than I used to. How is everyone else doing?

And yes, I would like to hear how the others are doing, also.

11-07-2012, 08:13 PM
Hello everyone *waves*

I joined this awesome message board a long time ago and allowed life with its ups and downs to pull me away. I have come back often to lurk but something always kept me from actively joining and participating.

Then this morning I got on the scales and weighed for the first time in weeks and was so disappointed in myself that I had let my weight creep back up to 240. :(

I told myself that this is it and I'm NOT waiting to until Jan 1st with my usual resolution. I'm starting today!! :carrot: Well tomorrow actually since today is about over. But you know what I mean. :smug:

I look forward to getting to know everyone in this group and on this board. Hopefully I will be over in the 230's group very soon.

11-08-2012, 02:31 AM
Ugh, I was on nuva ring for almost a year and climbed from 218 to 243.5 as of now. I'm off nuvaring but ate crappy most of the time so I'm battling my diet as well as exercise and hormones. I'm going to get down to 145 by this time next year though.

11-08-2012, 06:56 AM
That's the attitude R85. Welcome, and good luck. You can do it!

11-08-2012, 10:09 AM
I weighed in at 243.2, for a loss of 1.8lbs this week. Not as great as I have been doing, but it is a loss and I will take it. My realistic goal is to be 239 on Thanksgiving.

11-08-2012, 04:05 PM
Well, the scales were stuck on 240. Uuuuggghhhh!! Today I brought extra water and plan to walk some laps around the showroom that I work in. I will meet ya'll over in the 230 thread. :)

I came back to cheer you on but I can technically still post here because I always "bounce back up" a bit after losing but I count the lower number when I get it as long as I am being faithful to my plan. :)

11-11-2012, 04:28 PM

11-12-2012, 05:33 PM
Just made it in here in the last few days! Going to update my tickers, but wanted to say "Hi"

11-12-2012, 07:47 PM
Hi and welcome famograham! Nice to meet you!

11-13-2012, 10:31 AM
I am happy to report that I weighed in at 239.8 this morning, a loss of 10 lbs in just about a month. Thank you everyone for the support here, and I'll be waiting for you in the next thread down!

11-15-2012, 09:15 AM
Finally graduated to this thread officially. Hit 248.8 over the weekend but I gained a little back and wanted to make sure I stayed in the 240's. And today I weighed in at 249, so I'll take it!
Hey famograham, glad to see you over here. Who else is with us?

11-15-2012, 07:09 PM
I'm still here! Tempting goodies at work and then TOM coming to visit has derailed me. I am going tomorrow to buy an elliptical. I'm super excited to be able to set up my home gym and see some real results. I'll be in the 230's soon!!!

Misti in Seattle
11-17-2012, 08:58 AM
Teresa, you will make it soon! Just came back to cheer you on! LOL I barely made it as I still can't get below 239... hoping this morning a bit later!

LebenAlles, congrats on graduating into this thread!!

11-17-2012, 12:20 PM
Thanks Misti! Congrats on getting to the next thread yourself...239's not shabby at all, especially when you consider where we started!

11-17-2012, 12:20 PM
Hey Teresa, I'm sure this will be a hi and bye since you're right on the edge!

Misti in Seattle
11-19-2012, 01:02 AM
Teresa, you are almost outa here!!

And LebenAlles, so true!

I actually got a 239 this afternoon so perhaps a drop is coming!!

11-19-2012, 10:42 AM
Holding steady at 248.0...I was a little bad this weekend so I'm glad there wasn't a gain. Hopefully if I stick to my calories this week (maybe even on Thanksgiving if I can manage it) I'll see a loss at the end of the week. I really want to make my goal of getting into the 230's by my vacation on Dec 21st. That's only 9 more pounds, so you'd think I'd be able to, but with how slow things have been going lately, I'm just not sure. Guess we shall see!

11-19-2012, 04:06 PM
Well the scale said 239.9 this morning! However, this is the week where I will eat stuffing, so I'm not going to declare victory over the 240's until after this week.

Hopefully my new ellipitcal will be here very soon and I can really get back to regular workouts.

11-20-2012, 09:22 AM
Teresa - Congrats on seeing the 230's!! I bet you'll do better this holiday than you think!

I was horrible last night which A)couldve been because I let myself go a bit over the weekend and my willpower was down or B)TOM is on the way or a bit of both. I'm not going to let my night dictate my day, however, and I'm determined to be under calorie today. It CAN be done.

Misti in Seattle
11-20-2012, 10:15 PM
Hang in there, LebenAlles! You can do it!

11-23-2012, 06:01 AM
Hey there!
I weighed myself this morning for motivation to stay on plan for Thanksgiving and *drumroll* I am at 249.6 or 249.4. The weigh in did help today, I stayed on plan. I ate a little less than 1700 calories but I just couldn't get a workout in.

I got a long weekend coming. Fri getting together with friends. Sat is my birthday and I will be having lunch. I will be working out this weekend!! I hope to report lower numbers next week. I am so happy to be here :carrot:

11-23-2012, 08:06 AM
Congratulations, Ann! Your dedication is paying off! :congrat:

11-23-2012, 10:55 AM
Nice Job Ann!! I wish I had shown that much resolve...but really, I'm not sure how many calories I had. I know that I cooked most everything from www.skinnytaste.com, so that helped. But the stuffing wasnt from that website and that is what I ate the most off haha. Until I dropped the whole tupperware of leftovers on the floor, that is. Sadness!

Yesterday morning I saw 247.6! But, of course, after yesterday, it was back up to 248.4. Still, probably water weight, so I'm drinking my fluids today and will see how this weekend goes.

Misti - I hope your Thanksgiving was great!

11-25-2012, 01:31 PM
I see lots of familiar faces here in the 240s - hi guys! Weighed in at 249.6 this morning, looking forward to tomorrow's official weigh-in, especially after a rough one last week (family visiting + convention out of state with friends).

11-25-2012, 05:59 PM
Congrats Jenicra! Glad to see you over here!

11-25-2012, 07:18 PM
I'm still swinging back and forth around 245... It just seems like one day "off" turns into 5 and then I have to start again. I have in the past been successful losing weight during the holidays, I'm going to try my best!

11-25-2012, 07:19 PM

Official weigh-in for the week: 249.8. I'll take it!

11-27-2012, 01:58 AM
Hey ya'll!
I just wanted to check in. I weighed in this morning at 248. Finally! I want to be in the 230s by Jan 1. I like this thread because it is a 10 pound goal. I am already intimidated by the 220 and 230 thread. Yowzer!! I have a cold and after my weigh in I still got a workout in. I cranked up the heat though. Hope to report another lose by Sat, the 1st!

11-27-2012, 06:43 AM
jenicra So glad you made it!! ;)

11-28-2012, 12:32 PM
249.2 this morning, sneaking away from the 250s!

11-28-2012, 12:34 PM
246.8 This morning, woohoo!!

11-28-2012, 05:51 PM
LebenAlles~ Almost at the midway point!!

I am maintaining. I am still at 248. I don't expect a change. My official weigh in is Sunday. I have been very very sick. I have not been able to workout and I threw my calorie count out the window. Yesterday I did eat about 2700-2800 calories and I have been drinking beverages instead of water. I am drinking water today and back on my eating plan!! And will try to get back to working out by Friday. But I was glad when I weighed in at 248 so no gain so far!

11-28-2012, 08:07 PM
Do you have room for another person in this thread who want's to put the 240's in his rear view mirror and needs all the help he can get to do this??

I have been away from 3FC and binging since April. This was a bad choice on my part as I went from 210 lbs in April to 259 lbs as of last Friday. I have been back on plan since then and today my weight was 246 lbs.

At least this time I stopped before I regained everything plus more. As a life long yo-yo dieter this is the first time I stopped before that happened.:D

11-29-2012, 10:06 AM
Welcome Larry!
There's always room for one more, of course :) and congratulations on stopping the cycle! That takes a lot of willpower, especially around the holidays.
245.4 today :) inching closer and closer to the 230's. I'm hoping to be there in a couple of weeks. Can't wait!

Welcome Larry - at the rate you're moving, you won't be here long! Good for you for jumping back on.
LebenAlles - already halfway through, yay!
RoyalAthena - maintaining is a-okay in my book, especially given the time of the year. Good luck!
I weighed in at 247.8 this morning. I'm *this* close to having lost 20% of my starting weight, which as incidentally also my goal weight for the end of the year.

Hi everybody!

Just came back to say I am glad to see all of you still hanging in here... and that I can't wait to see you very soon in the 230s/220s thread!!!! Hurry on down!! :)

11-30-2012, 09:26 AM
Hey Misti! Looks like you're making you way through those plateau's you were experiencing...that's awesome!

243.4 this morning. RFL definitely definitely works, even if it is just a segway diet. I plan on being in the 230's by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week!

11-30-2012, 09:07 PM
Okay, I just wanted to check in.

I lost 2 pounds this week without trying. I had only expected to maintain. I had a horrendous week. Thanksgiving, my birthday party, celebrating my b-day on lunches, testing, looking for a job then I got sick (bronchitis) No working out, no calorie count, no water and then *puff* 2 pounds. I don't know how it happened. Maybe the stress is gone or my body needed a rest.

Anywho, I am eating decent calories today and this weekend and start back to working out on Monday. 11 pounds to my New Year's goal!

Larry: great progress so far! Welcome to the 240s!!

Jenicra: Wow! You are close to 20% :carrot: I hadn't thought of my percentage lately. That is an inspiration to me! I have lost about 25% and I need to lose 15 more pounds to get to 30%!! THANKS for that different perspective!

LebenAlles: I have thought about RFL. It is nice to see a real person doing it. Is it difficult or rigid. Please keep posting yor progress on it, it is motivating me...

Misti: Thanks for checking in! You are chugging along. That 230/220 forum is calling me! It is going to be a doozie because it is so long. I'm scared! (in a good way) :D

11-30-2012, 09:53 PM
Ann - It is pretty hardcore, I have to admit. At least if you're a snacker and have a sweet tooth like me. More like sweet teeth, ha. But as far as the hunger, it honestly has been soo much better than I expected. I can say that you have to follow the book pretty much exactly including the caffeine/ephedrine pills, supplements, and sticking to the short list of available foods to avoid any pitfalls, but I've found a few creative recipes using the list that have helped break the monotony.

Even though it's a healthier version of a crash diet, it's still a crash diet though. And Lyle specifically says that it shouldnt be used longterm. I'm just using it before my trip to NYC on December 21st, so I can fit into the clothes I bought for the trip. Definitely takes a lot of willpower, but man is it amazing seeing the weight just fall off, day after day.

I'm definitely looking forward to my first free meal tomorrow, that's for sure.

12-01-2012, 05:41 AM
Glad to hear everyone is doing well! I am pretty on plan, especially considering the stress at home right now (very sick kitty that needs put down, husband out of town, so dealing with that without him is even harder). I drank too many vodka crans tonight but finished with a reasonable dinner and some sadness chocolate. Hoping to make it through the weekend with a reasonable diet.

12-01-2012, 03:14 PM
Jenicra - I am so sorry! Poor baby kitty :( I understand the need for vodka during times like that for sure, it's so hard. My heart goes out to you guys.

241.6 for me this morning.

12-02-2012, 03:02 PM
Said goodbye to my sweet old cat yesterday. A hard day, but somehow managed to keep my eating reasonable (despite all the food-related pity party events!) I'm down to 247.6 this morning. Just one pound away from 60 pounds & 20% lost! LebenAlles - thanks for the condolences and wow - 241 already??!?

12-02-2012, 09:34 PM
Said goodbye to my sweet old cat yesterday. A hard day, but somehow managed to keep my eating reasonable (despite all the food-related pity party events!) I'm down to 247.6 this morning. Just one pound away from 60 pounds & 20% lost! LebenAlles - thanks for the condolences and wow - 241 already??!?

so sorry about your kitty! I've been there with my dog and it took a while for me to get over it.

Great that you are almost at 60lbs!!

12-03-2012, 10:54 AM
Jenicra - Yeah, this Rapid Fat Loss thing really is rapid. It's pretty crazy. Sorry again about your kitty. Hang in there!

243.2 this morning though, because of my 'free meal' on Saturday that I was alotted. I'm thinking that'll be gone tomorrow morning though, since I didn't go nuts for that meal and got right back on plan. I was disappointed in this morning's weigh in but I know I didn't drink enough water yesterday so I'm hoping today will work that out. Still, 7 lbs in seven days...nothing to complain about. Two more weeks left of RFL!

12-03-2012, 11:04 AM
Official weigh-in: 247.8

12-03-2012, 02:10 PM
So close to your mini goal, Jenicra!

12-03-2012, 05:16 PM
Jenicra sorry to hear about your kitty.

:congrat: Jenicra on 59 LBS lost and 20% lost.

Larry H
12-03-2012, 07:08 PM
Jenicra sorry to hear about the loss of your cat:hug: I am a cat person and it is tough to lose one. They become family.

No change in my weight today. :) At least it did not go up:carrot:

DW and I had our lunch at the Golden Corral, I ate no meat or fish, I just veggied out.:D I went onto the Golden Corral web site to make sure my calorie counts were right, So far today I have only had 421 calories and lunch is our big meal of the day. I am not sure yet what to fix for dinner, but I should add some protein in. My ratio today so far is 48% fat, 41% carbs, and 11% protein. I was surprised to see that most of the fat was contained in the Steamed Broccoli, Steamed Carrots and in the Squash Medley. I would never have guessed that. :?:

12-04-2012, 02:26 AM
Thank you all for your support. Today has been a little easier, I've kept busy. And on plan. I even exercised.

12-05-2012, 01:17 PM
246.2 this morning - more than 60 pounds down now. Wow!

12-08-2012, 01:38 PM
I haven't seen that low number since then, so maybe it was a fluke - oh well. Still close! 246.8 this morning.

12-08-2012, 03:26 PM
I'm new to the thread but have been living in the 240s for the past 9 mos. 3 more lbs till I say good bye forever!

12-08-2012, 07:26 PM
Hey I am just checking in. My weight is up slightly, I think due to my food choices (retaining water). I am going hardcore the next few weeks. I was slacking on water and workout. So back to a detailed regimine of what works. I am not going to weigh (hopefully) for a week or until Dec 29 or Jan 1. I am not really depressed but I don't want to get there right now. If I keep weighing myself then it could turn into disaster. I am trying to get over an ED and the scale won't help matters :( I'll check in later.

12-10-2012, 09:27 AM
RoyalAthena, I understand how you feel. Sometimes its better not to know what the scale has to say. You still have 3 more weeks to kick some major butt and get out the 240s.
Best of luck!

12-10-2012, 01:00 PM
Royal Athena, good for you for checking in. Just keep on keeping on, the scale will move. Welcome foreverfaye!

My official weigh-in for the week was 245.4, exactly enough to hit my mini-goal of losing 20% of my total weight.

12-10-2012, 01:16 PM
Also: LebenAlles, get your butt back here to 3FC! :)

12-10-2012, 05:05 PM
I made reservations to join you all here and can officially says I'm in the 240s finally! 249.2 to be exact! :) Never thought I'd be so happy to say that number.

I don't plan to stay long; I am hoping to hit the 230s (239.9?) by January 1st!!

Hi... just came back to check on all of you again! We are waiting for you in the 230s/220s thread so stay on track and get your butts down there very soon! :)

And yes, so far the 230s have been kinder to me than the 240s... thought I would NEVER get through this thread!! Now I am close enough to the 220s to be dreaming of it but pretty much stuck for a while now here at 234... but I dropped the first half of the 230s very quickly so it won't be a surprise if I have to wait a bit now. :)

Hurry on down here!!

12-11-2012, 09:53 AM
Hey Everybody!

Jenicra, haha, you got me! I was staying away because I didn't want to feel guilty about my week long craziness. Self guilt, of course, because everyone on here is always incredibly supportive.

I managed to gain back all but ONE lb from the RFL stint...BUT I feel less guilty about that because A)I'm back on RFL today...I think I started it WAY too early. I'll be on it a total of ten days before my trip, which is plenty of time. B)A lot of that was water weight, as I saw this morning when I dropped 3.6 lbs since yesterday. C) Now I know what to expect when I go off RFL for my trip. I'm hoping it wont be an 8lb gain like this time, but I at least wont be too shocked when it's close. And this way, if I lose as much as I can on RFL in the next ten days, the gain won't be as big of a deal. D) I really think I needed last week. Hardcore.

Those are all my reasons! But anyways, 245.6 today, second day on RFL, and I'm feeling good!

Hey Misti, glad the 230's are being good to you! I hope to say the same!

Hang in there everyone, you're doing great this holiday season!

12-11-2012, 01:30 PM
Hello all... I am back on the way down to 199. I reached it three years ago but fell off the wagon and gained some back. I have been on my new journey since Sept 7 and lost a total now of 51 lbs. I am hoping the 240's go by very fast.. Yesterday was 249.6 and today was 249.2! Any amount lost is good!!

12-11-2012, 04:34 PM
LOL glad you're back LebenAlles. Being up a few pound after a super-strict regime (I don't know what RFL is, but I assume it's intense, because I saw your quick results) sounds really good. I know a lot of the time there is a big scale bounce. uclr0028: welcome to the 240s AND congratulations on your huge success thus far. Won't 199 be amazing? I cannot wait (well, I have to, but still).

I weighed in at 244.8 this morning. Why am I always down another .6 or more the day AFTER my official weekly weigh-in? :)

Hi ladies, I am in the 240's now, and hoping I can hang on and keep moving downward.

12-12-2012, 09:23 AM
Hey Judy! Congrats on making it to the 240's and welcome. May it be kind to you!

243.2 this morning. The lowest I saw a week ago was 241.6, which I'm hoping to see tomorrow. Made my NYC ticker, which is very cute. An apple for the Big Apple...get it? :)

12-12-2012, 12:08 PM
Both of your tickers are cute, LebenAlles!

Welcome Judy Lynn, I just got here on Monday so we are the 2 newbies. I hope we don't stay here too long!

12-12-2012, 01:23 PM
Welcome Judy Lynn!

244.2 this morning (even after pizza, worked in to my points)!

12-13-2012, 12:06 AM
Congrats on the 20% Jenicra!!
Welcome elvislover324 & Juddy Lynn! Hope you have short stay :)
It's that TOM for me and the scale will not budge. I just have 1 lb to move on to the 230s and I was hoping to be there by now. Oh well. I have a date with PX90 in the AM so tomorrow might be my lucky day.

12-13-2012, 02:28 AM

Hello everyone

forever, glad to hear you are about to graduate into the 230s/220s thread... we have a bunch about to graduate and I need you (and others here) down there so I have someone to play with. :)

12-13-2012, 08:52 AM
Weighed in @ 239.8 this AM!!!!!!!!!
Its time for me to go :)
Misti, the 230s are my new hangout zone & we're going to have F-U-N! If I haven't said it yet, congrats on how far you've come. You are such an inspiration
Can't wait to see you gals in the 230s.

12-13-2012, 12:18 PM
Hey Everybody,

Congrats Forever on graduating! Hopefully I'll be following you very soon :)

241.6 this morning. I'm skipping the 'free meal' that totally messed me up when I got here two weeks ago, so I think thatll keep me going in that downward direction. I'm hoping for some 23X's in there tomorrow!

Keep it up, everybody!

12-13-2012, 07:52 PM
Yay Faye!!! Just saw you in the 230s thread

LebenAlles, you're almost there!!!! I look forward to seeing you down there soon.

12-14-2012, 01:11 PM
241.8?? Seriously?? That's just stupid.

12-15-2012, 03:10 AM
LebenAlles - you are master of that scale, don't let it own you.

Foreverfaye - congrats and see you there soon!

I checked in at 243.8 this morning and today was my best eating day all week (finals are rough on the points budget).

12-15-2012, 06:35 AM
Hello Everyone!

I'm new here and I'm ready to do the work. I weighed in today at 247.0.

I've been following for a while and I find everyone on this site extremely inspirational.

12-15-2012, 02:43 PM
Hey Nickkiet! Glad to have you with us!

239.2 today!! Not only am I moving on to the next thread, but I also hit my first goal for new years! Now, I know that when I get back from vacation things will be a bit different, but I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts!

Jenicra, I think the low carbs and low fat has me pissy, because I definitely over reacted yesterday.

I think the horribly tragic events that transpired yesterday made me realize how trivial certain things can be sometimes in light of what is transpiring in the world around me. Yet another reminder to hug your loved one's and never take a moment for granted. I hope everyone is well and safe.

12-16-2012, 04:12 AM
LOL LebenAlles - that'll do it! :) And I'll see you soon in the next thread.

12-19-2012, 04:36 PM
The Christmas treats are getting to me big time. I'm probably at maintenance calories for 8 out of the last 10 days and weight loss calories for 2. Which, you know, is okaaaaay, but... Anyone out there struggling with all these delicious things in front of you all the time (and less time to work out)? I was up to 246.4 this morning.

12-20-2012, 09:07 AM
Hello everyone!:) I'm officially joining you today finally, with 248.6. I'm not planning on staying too long though:)

12-22-2012, 04:53 AM
246 this morning (down .3) after an on-plan day yesterday. Today was okay - everything tracked, used some weeklies.

12-22-2012, 04:37 PM
Back down to 243.8 (last week's low weight) as of this morning. Going to have to work to keep it there til Christmas. Anyone else around? :)

12-23-2012, 02:01 PM
243.4 today, despite pizza last night (jeez, I eat way too much of that stuff). Hoping it holds out for tomorrow's official weigh-in.

12-23-2012, 03:21 PM
just checking in at 245, finally out of 250s-60s. only thing is my hip hurts so ill have to cut back on my workouts :(

238lb here:carrot: soo happy, cuz its been super hard with alll the Holiday events

12-24-2012, 03:27 AM
Jammy - good for you! Ideally, I'd love to be losing, but it's proving pretty difficult just to maintain - you are doing awesome!

12-24-2012, 01:59 PM
Official weigh-in for the week: 243.6, down 2.2 pounds for the week. Very pleased!

12-24-2012, 02:25 PM
Working so hard on getting out of the 240s! Weighed in at 243.8 this morning, down 3.2 for the week.

Good job this week, jenicra! Hopefully I'll see you in the 230s soon! This is going to be my incentive to stay on plan for Christmas!

Judy Lynn
12-26-2012, 09:28 AM
Great job Jenicra and Elvislover! :bravo:

12-26-2012, 04:43 PM
My intention for Xmas eve was to eat what I wanted but stay within maintenance calories, then Christmas day I could eat whatever I wanted. And I did! And it's a great reminder to me that eating whatever I want makes me feel tired and sluggish. And that a too full belly means I'll have a hard time falling asleep. I'm glad I gave myself Christmas day off, because the leftovers don't look so appetizing anymore. I weighed in at 245 on the dot this morning. Back to the plan to finish out the year!

Elvislover - I'm going to push for the next thread by the first week of the new year! Thanks Judy Lynn!

12-27-2012, 01:25 PM
Dropped a little after a day on plan: 244.2

12-30-2012, 02:50 PM
245.6 today. Blah blah blah. Trying to put together a couple of decent on-plan days.

12-31-2012, 02:29 PM
240.8 this morning! I'll see you on the 230s page soon. :):):)

12-31-2012, 07:43 PM
241.2 this morning, ugh! Tried to leave the 240s before January 1st!

Happy New Year everyone!

01-01-2013, 02:11 AM
So I am back in this decade. I HATE this decade. My goal is to get out of here this month. 248 today.

01-01-2013, 11:59 AM
I'm back to the 250s thread! Long story short, I got a great, brand new scale for Christmas from a relative who didn't know I bought one already...and I'm using that one because it's much much better, tracks everything, etc. Unfortunately it shows bigger numbers than the other one. It says I'm 256,7 right now. I was on maintenance calories during the holidays and I didn't gain weight, I'm proud of myself and I'm alright with this number. I'll be back soon!:)

01-01-2013, 02:42 PM
See you soon Susie! I'm up nearly 5 lbs from my low just before Christmas. Some of it is real weight, some of it is water weight, but either way, I want it off! 248 this morning.

01-01-2013, 06:39 PM
I'm back again... 245 at my weigh-in on Saturday. Working towards 230s!!

01-01-2013, 10:49 PM
I see I am not the only one back. Here's hoping we get out of here sooner than later. I am thinking about incorporating 2-a-days to get out of here.

01-03-2013, 12:44 AM
Clinging on over here... I'm sick, so that's "good" - for weight loss anyway. Don't know my weight.

01-04-2013, 02:25 PM
Gotta own it: up to 247 this weekly weigh-in. I'm still conscious, still tracking, still checking in, still weighing, still struggling. Hopefully I'll do better once my schedule returns to its normal hecticness with school.

01-04-2013, 03:06 PM
Hi Jen! Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the 240s group. Gosh. You have done so great! 60 pounds lost! And I love your ticker!!

Are you following any particular program? Tracking? WW?

01-05-2013, 02:37 PM
Lunarsongbird - I'm doing weight watchers, which I've really enjoyed. What's your plan?

01-05-2013, 04:36 PM
Oh, and weigh-in this morning: 246.2 Phew!

01-05-2013, 07:24 PM
Hi All!!
I was 240.1 at this morning's weigh in. Could tomorrow be the day????:carrot:

01-05-2013, 07:25 PM
I joined the Metabolic Research Center. It's WONDERFUL! I meet with a consultant one-on-one twice a week. We go over everything I have done that week. They measure weight, muscle mass, fat percentage, hydration, and inches. They bring in an RN and psychologist every month to get to the root of their client's weight issues.

They offer classes all the time, including exercise classes- and if you go to six classes you get two free weeks of program. The trainers get paid a base salary, but also make commission on the pounds lost of their clients, which I think is pretty great.

So are you down almost a pound? FABULOUS!

01-05-2013, 07:29 PM
Hi All!!
I was 240.1 at this morning's weigh in. Could tomorrow be the day????:carrot:

Huzzah!! I think it just might be!! :hat:

I have never celebrated moving into different weight brackets before, but I LIKE it! I LOVE celebrating.

At the center, every ten pounds you drop- everyone in the waiting room is given a shot of a fiber drink- they put on the song "Celebration" and we all cheers to the "Loser."

01-05-2013, 07:32 PM
Hi All!!
I was 240.1 at this morning's weigh in. Could tomorrow be the day????:carrot:

Fingers crossed for you!!! Make sure you pee twice before you weigh lmao!!

I LOVE LOVE that your center does that, how awesome!!

Isn't it SO fun?!

We've also got to pick teams this month (there are four teams)- for every pound lost you put a stone into a vase and the team who has the most stones every week wins prizes.... free fiber drinks, free protein shakes, two weeks free on program, ect.

I am so motivated by that kind of stuff. They also do weigh-ins the day after holidays and if you have dropped .5 pounds? Another free two weeks of program.

I want MANY free programs. I paid quite a bit for my initial investment (17 weeks)- but I think I'm going to add a lot of weeks. They also guarantee a 2-5 pound weight loss a week (will give weeks back).

01-06-2013, 02:03 PM
Up a little to 246.6 this morning.

01-06-2013, 02:31 PM
When is your official weigh-in at weight watchers?

01-06-2013, 09:24 PM
240.0 this morning - lol. It's fine. I've started walking 5 miles a day so I know I'm Building muscle. Good luck everyone!! We'll be doing the samba on over to 230s in no time. Where are my samba shoes??!! ;)

01-06-2013, 11:04 PM
Hi, I'm checking in here at 244lbs! Blah! I haven't been in the 240s in ages. I dunno why gaining from the 220s to the 240s is such a big deal for me, but it was a wake up call. I'm gonna go back and read all 12 pages of this thread to catch up!

01-07-2013, 10:41 AM
JellyBelly- Are you up from the holidays?

bleu- SO close. I'm not looking forward to weighing in on Tuesday. I feel like I've gained. Maybe I should replace the batteries in my scale just so that I don't have to worry.

01-07-2013, 01:27 PM
I am out of here!! Weighed in at 236.6 this morning at my doctor's office. I'll see you in the 230s!

01-07-2013, 02:31 PM
Woohoo! Congratulations, Elvis! That's wonderful! I can't believe how close you are to losing 100 (ONE HUNDRED!!!!) Pounds!!!

01-07-2013, 03:02 PM
I know!! I'm so excited, I swear I am skipping around today. That is sure to help with my exercise and calories lol. Can't even believe it, I'm still in shock.

01-08-2013, 12:25 PM
Lunar - I do WW at home, but Mondays are my official check-in. This week's official weigh-in was 245.6.

Welcome JellyBelly! See ya Elvislover (you're outta here plus some!

01-08-2013, 01:00 PM
Thanks Jenny! I was so lucky this week. Can't wait to see you in the 230\220s. I'll be there a bit I'm sure.

01-08-2013, 11:12 PM
JellyBelly- Are you up from the holidays?

I wish I could use that as an excuse, but no. I get sad around the holidays (long, personal story) so I only ate one plate of food for Thanksgiving dinner with 1/2 slice of cake. And I did not eat Christmas dinner at all. My life has been pretty stressful the last 6-8 months. And I haven't dieted or exercised properly in about 10-12 months.

Welcome JellyBelly!

01-08-2013, 11:50 PM
Jelly, it must feel good to be back on track then. What is your first mini-goal?

01-09-2013, 09:58 AM
Hey Guys,

Glad to see I'm not the only one that strayed back here after making it to the 230's before the holidays. Mine gain was MAJOR, but I had a lot happen all at once and I've beat myself up enough over it. I think part of it was also that I lost some of that last weight through Rapid Fat Loss, which is an extremely strict diet that you're bound to gain from after getting off of it.

Anyways, already down 2 lbs from yesterday, so apparently there's still some water weight in there. Not excited about my Team Lunch at work today though...they all voted Shogun, a japanese hibach place, which means being good is going to be extra hard. I'm going to do my best though!

Hope everyone is doing well

Leben- Be strong today at lunch! :) Come back and celebrate when you do. What does your plan look like? What type of foods are you trying to stay away from?

It sounds like you are coming off the holiday season with a good approach going forward.

01-09-2013, 12:36 PM
LebenAlles - so good to see you back! I'm sorry you've been struggling, but you are so not alone! I've been within the same 5 pound range for weeks and weeks now, down, then up, down, then up. I've put together a few OP days now and am feeling good though - and that sounds like where you are too! Good luck this afternoon. I've never had hibachi, but there's gotta be miso soup, steamed rice, edamame right? Can I stick my nose in where it doesn't belong now? I hope you have returned to an eating plan that you can sustain long term. I know that for me, those things are tempting and that I crash HARD when the restrictions are taken away. And then it all ends up being for naught.

In other news, I hit a new low on the scale this morning! Wahoo! 242 today.

01-09-2013, 04:29 PM
I'm at 248.6. I hope to get out of the 240's before January ends.

01-10-2013, 12:42 PM
Welcome fitway!

Weighed in at 242.4 this morning.

01-10-2013, 01:36 PM
Lunar - Thanks for the encouragement! I think I did really well at lunch actually. I had about six small bites of fried rice (they didnt offer a steamed option), none of the noodles, onion soup (sooo good and only 25 cals according to My Fitness Pal), and teriyaki chicken/shrimp. I ate all the shrimp and half the chicken, mainly because I was full. I took the rest with me and gave it to someone who doesnt havent to worry about calories as much, haha. I was pretty proud of myself...especially with the fried rice. I love that stuff. Then for dinner I had fish and grean beans to off set all the sodium and carbs I had for lunch.
As far as what I'm staying away from, I'm trying to stay in a 125-150 carb range, including everything (fruits and veggies as well). I took a look at the past six months of food logs and though I was mostly doing well staying in calories (aside from lately), I was doing horrible with carbs. Since my body responded so well to Rapid Fat Loss I figured I should incorporate that more into my diet, just in moderation.

Jenicra - Thanks, I'm glad to be back! I feel like from 300 down to 260 it was great to lose weight but I still felt super large. Now it seems like every lb lost actually shows up and makes me smaller. I'm approaching non-plus sized sizes in 20 or so pounds, so that's really exciting. This is going to be a good year, I can feel it!
Right now I'm doing seven days watching the carbs and following My Fitness Pal and then three days on RFL then switching again. That way I'm not freaking out when I'm coming off of RFL, like I did when I was doing it weeks at a time, but can still have that extra jolt so I don't stall out and get frustrated. That's been my cycle so far and I want to end it. Congrats on your low weight btw! That's awesome. You're almost to the next thread!

01-10-2013, 02:01 PM
The non-plus size clothes are a big draw aren't they? I'm glad you've figured out a plan that you can work and works for you! I look forward to snaking our way down the threads together! Sounds like you did well at your lunch! (Wish I could say the same for my dinner last night - I really didn't need that cheesecake!)

01-11-2013, 10:28 AM
247.4 this morning! I love those first weeks back on plan...really helps you hang in there.

Jenicra - Cheesecake is always necessary, isnt it? It should be. And yeah, I'm looking forward to it, too! 230's here we come!

01-11-2013, 10:56 AM
I've been trying to figure out exactly where "plus" size ends. I haven't purchased clothes in FOREVER. About two years ago I raided my mother's closet and have been wearing pretty much the same thing for years. Good thing I can wear black pants often. I wear two pairs of black pants and many skirts. I also have a pair of grey paints and navy blue ones. That's it....

I carry almost all my weight on my bottom half. I'm VERY much a pear. I was just thinking yesterday that a mini-goal should be to get in size 12. But honestly...I'm terrified of going shopping again.

01-11-2013, 11:43 AM
Hello ladies!

I just weighed myself at the gym the other day and came in at 246 (I'm already in the 230s on my home scale, but I think my son broke the scale messing with the zero-ing dial)

I'd love to get out of the 240s by the end of Jan, but not sure I'll make it. I need to lose another 18 pounds by 15 April as I have a bet with my brother. But I have some major strength training I need to do as well...which can go against the weight loss in the short term.

01-11-2013, 12:37 PM
For me, the end of plus size is when I can comfortably fit in to any XL (fitting into mostly XLs at this point, but could use a little more room in others) and regular 16 (not 16W) (currently in 18s) because that's when you can walk in to most any department store's "regular" section and find something.

Welcome Almostme!

I weighed in at 241.6 - I am so excited that this big drop seems to be sticking around! It also means I've lost 65 pounds total!

01-12-2013, 01:35 PM
This morning I was at 240.6 - inching closer!

01-12-2013, 01:36 PM
This morning I was at 240.6 - inching closer!

Woo Hoo!!!

01-12-2013, 10:23 PM
Nice Job Jenicra! You're a day or two away from being outta here!

Lunar, Shopping is really scary, but I find it can also be a big pick me up when you feel like you update your wardrobe. Especially since a lot of women tend to care less about 'style' when they are overweight and start just buying what fits. Wearing stuff you're not proud of can hurt the self-esteem when you've been working hard to get smaller. Just my two cents! I do love a good pair of black pants though, for sure

246.4 this morning. My body is loving the low carb and just being back on plan in general. I won't expect all this every week, but I'm happy with how this week is ending.

01-13-2013, 03:26 PM
Nice drop LebenAlles - I bet you're feeling great!

I stayed steady at 240.6. Tomorrow morning's weigh-in will be very early morning, so I'm guessing I won't make it to the 230s tomorrow, but within the next few days I should be moving on!

It's really so much about your build and how you carry your weight. I wear non-plus sized bottoms, although they have to be stretchy things like yoga pants. I can't wear plus size pants because I'm a top heavy apple and anything that fits in the waist is huge everywhere else. On the other hand, I may get to goal and still be wearing a 1X shirt, although I hope that won't be the case. As a pear shape, you are likely to be the opposite and be well into misses tops before you get there in bottoms.

(and btw, hi everyone! I'm sneaking in here a little early but hope to be here for real next week!)

01-13-2013, 10:58 PM
Jelly, it must feel good to be back on track then. What is your first mini-goal?

It does feel good to be back!

My 1st mini-goal is to reach ~218 lbs so that my BMI will be in the severely obese (as opposed to morbidly obese) category. I'm going to buy myself something insanely expensive and frivolous once I meet that goal lol.

I love 4.4 lbs this week. Yay!

Hopefully, I can post in the 230s thread next week!

01-14-2013, 10:00 AM
Hey All.

242 here. Hope to be out of the 240's soon. I've had many failed weight loss attempts but, this is it.

01-14-2013, 12:03 PM
Held steady at 246.4 this weekend, which is fine with me. Five pounds in a week is awesome. I'm sure this week will be a smaller loss, but as long as I'm headed in the right direction, I'm good.

Hope everyone is well this monday and hanging in there!

01-15-2013, 12:51 PM
239.8!!! I'm outta here. I'll miss you all, but not for long - come on down!

01-15-2013, 01:32 PM
Woohoo!! Congrats Jenicra! I'll be seeing you in a bit, for sure!

246.2...down .4, but hey, ill take what i can get!

01-15-2013, 09:43 PM
Thanks LebenAlles - see you soon on the next thread (and I'll check in here from time to time I'm sure).

01-16-2013, 02:50 AM
I can't find a getting out of the 250s thread, so I'm going to post in here. I've been hovering between 240-260 for the last year. I've been losing the same 10 pounds over and over again. So this is the thread that will be more important to me. Once I get out of the 240s, it will show me that I won't be repeating this cycle. So official weigh in day said 254.0. Which is pretty awesome since I didn't really believe my 255 last week. If I keep up this rate, I could see myself in the 240s by February.

01-16-2013, 09:49 AM
Welcome Daimere! Congrats on your happy weigh-in, those are always nice. I'll still be here for awhile more, so keep checking back in. These forums are definitely great to keep you motivated and show you that you can, after all, do this business.

244.2 this morning. Day 2 of 3 on RFL. I'm really thinking this pattern is going to work. 3 days isn't bad at all, and then I'm not finding it too terribly hard to keep carbs down when I'm doing regular calorie counting on my fitness pal. Good times, good times.

01-16-2013, 10:45 AM
What is RFL?

01-16-2013, 01:54 PM
It's Lyle McDonald's Rapid Fat Loss 'healthy crash diet'. Basically it's one of the healthiest ways to lose weight in a short amount of time and isn't supposed to be sustained for an extended period of time. Really low carbs, really low fat, and high protein...basically a small list of acceptable foods...so it's different from Atkins and those types in that you don't have all the fat either.

I'm using it as supplemental to my diet...3 days on it then 4 on a regular calorie count with moderate carbs to keep from gaining much back when I'm off. Not sure how it's going to work as it's still incorporating an extreme measure for a few days, but I have an engagement party for a friend coming up and her wedding after that...itll be the first time I've seen most of these people in over a year, so they last saw me as the 305 lb me. I want to be as small as possible to really wow them :) My other excuse is that I took my sweet time losing the sixty I've lost so far (a year), so a few months losing a little quicker can't hurt, right?

Anyways, I'm sure that's more information than you bargained for, but there ya go.

01-16-2013, 02:28 PM
LebenAlles, you might be interested in checking out the Dukan Diet. It sound quite similar to RFL - not to say you should change something if it's working for you, just that while I am following Dukan, I find I pick up helpful bits and pieces all over.

And Daimere, the 260s-250s thread is here, if you are still looking

as for me, not quite officially here yet - the scale was 250.0 this morning. So close but no cigar! lol! (but I'm going to start packing, getting ready to move.)

Ah ha! I bet people can get really judgy about that. So in theory- it's probably pretty low calorie too. Does it make you feel tired at all?

I did something called GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) last year and when you are first starting- you are just eating boiled meat and veggies (EEEK! The weight came off quickly during that time)- but I still felt amazing. ::shrugs::

01-17-2013, 10:22 AM
Yeah, though I understand why they are. If it was something I was trying to sustain for a long period of time, I'd probably be judging myself more...more than I obviously already am, ha. But I tried doing it for more than a week and almost lost my shiz.

Physically though, I feel great on it. He's very particular about the vitamins you take with it, and stresses the importance of caffeine (he says to do an EC stacker but I haven't done that) to supplement the loss of energy. Which brings up all sorts of other issues, but yeah...I feel really good. Takes away the 'bloaty' feeling you get sometimes with a decent amount of carbs.

The only way I won't keep this up is if during the four days i have off each week, I gain back more than 50% of what I lost during the 3 days on. That would make it not worth it.

Boiled meat and veggies...that sounds a lot like this...except for the boiled part. And it's all lean meats and fish...no beef or pork.

Today I'm officially here 249.2!!! Happy Dance!! :broc:

I'm going to wait to change my ticker until my normal Sunday WI, and hopefully I'll have even further distance from the 250s by then.

01-17-2013, 01:21 PM
Glad you're feeling well LebenAlles - keep it up!

April Snow - nice job!

April Snow
01-17-2013, 02:55 PM
Thanks Jenicra!

Even though I started in the 250s this time, my all time high is the 260s, and being in the 240s finally feels like I have enough distance! lol! Not that I intend to go back to the 250s at all, but I like having a lot of room between where I am now and then.

It looks like a lot of people posting here are in the low 240s or already in the 230s, like you, so seems like this must be a great group!

01-18-2013, 09:29 AM
241.0 today. It's Day one OFF RFL, so I expect a gain of a few lbs, but as long as it's between 2 and 3, I'm Okay with it. I'm looking forward to being able to have something other than meat and veggies! I had a dark chocolate kiss this morning for breakfast and it was HEAVEN.

Congrats April, you're doing great!

Jenicra, I'm right on your heels hopefully!

01-18-2013, 10:49 AM
Leben, I'm interested in seeing how your experiment turns out. Do you supplement with protein at all when you are RFL?

I also feel like I'm experimenting. I've learned that if I'm off plan for a half a week- and on plan for a half a week- I end up breaking even. Which means if I end up making the decision for being off plan- it really can't be more then 2 days.

I'm a bit disappointed to see that it doesn't take very much for me to be off plan. :-/

April, It doesn't seem like many people stay in the 240s very long- so I think we come back to pull you guys through to the 230s, as there aren't too many people posting in this group.

I also don't change my numbers until official weigh-ins, but gosh darn I want a ticker!

April Snow
01-18-2013, 11:14 AM
thanks Leben and Lunar! Glad to be here, even though I am cheering you guys on to leave as soon as possible! lol! But I know I'll be getting company from the 250s very soon including Tziri.

Lunar - I remember how excited I was when I got my ticker - the one good thing about the wait is that you've done so well and made great progress, so your ticker will look great as soon as you get it!

01-18-2013, 09:43 PM
Officially 249.3! Hello all! Hope everyone has a great weekend.

01-18-2013, 11:27 PM

I hope you will come and visit with us in the 230s-220s soon! :carrot:

Just need to get a ticker now.

Hoping the rest of the 240s continue to go by quickly!!

01-20-2013, 02:32 PM
I hope everything to 200 goes by quickly! lol Want to hit 199 sooo badly.

01-21-2013, 04:20 AM
I cheated SO many times on my diet this week. I don't know what the **** happened. I never eat candy (ice cream is my drug-of-choice) but I kept eating candy this week. And I only exercised once. Thankfully, I didn't gain any weight. I only lost 0.8lbs. Hopefully, I'll be firmly out of this thread next week!

April Snow
01-22-2013, 12:17 PM
Sorry Jellybelly but good that you only had a small loss instead of a gain! Good luck getting out of here soon! I'm hoping to be below 245 at my WI, so I can be more than halfway out, but after 2 great weeks the first two weeks, I'm kind of expecting a slow down, so we'll see.

April Snow
01-24-2013, 12:11 PM
How's everyone doing today?

I'm holding steady at 246.2 on the scale this morning for my mid-week sneak peek. But between having some ham the past couple of days and the way I am carb cycling, I'm feeling optimistic I'll see a loss for my Sunday WI.

My hope is to get below 245 so I can be in the bottom half of the 240s. And even better would be 244.2 or below, so I can claim my first 5% loss. I am definitely feeling it though - my knees are thanking me already! :)

01-24-2013, 10:11 PM
I'm stuck above 245 too! Sooooo annoying. Maybe this weekend will go better.

April Snow
01-25-2013, 11:34 AM
I'm not really stuck - I know from being on this plan before that my pattern was to hold steady or even drift slightly upwards the first half of the week when I have my (relatively) higher carb days and then at the end of the week, after a few lower carb days, I saw a small whoosh and that will show my net loss for the week. So while I never take a loss for granted, I will be surprised if I don't see the same pattern happen this time around.

April Snow
01-27-2013, 12:34 PM
Down 1.6 to 244.6. So happy that the 230s are closer than the 250s now!!

01-28-2013, 02:40 AM
It's not ticker official but I'm at 249.5. YAY! I have a lot of sore muscles today. So I'm not sure if by Tuesday, i'll be at 248 like I aspire to be.

01-28-2013, 10:26 AM
I'm 243.4 today. I had hoped I'd be out of the 240's by next week, but there's no way I'm gonna lose 3.5 pounds by next week. I'm okay with that though. I'm gonna choose to be happy with whatever I lose. Hopefully I'll be out of the 240's by the end of February.

01-28-2013, 11:15 AM
242.2 up a little but I expected that. Thatll be down in a few days. Keep teetering around so close to the 230's...agh! it's maddening!

April Snow
01-28-2013, 11:28 AM
wooohooo Daimere!! :bravo:

sorry you weren't happier with the numbers, LebenAlles and Fitwayoflife. I don't really understand how our bodies/the scale knows when we are close to a milestone like going down a decade but I've experienced this and seen it so many times. Sometimes I've talked about skipping WIs for a few weeks, to give myself time to safely pass over that milestone. But I've never been able to hold out for that long, of course. :o

01-28-2013, 06:18 PM
Hoping to join you ladies this week. Weighed in today at 250.6

01-29-2013, 02:52 AM
Still around 245... blah... Hoping to be out of the 40s in another week!

April Snow
01-29-2013, 09:24 AM
oh wow SmallSteps, you are so close, can't wait to see you here!!

And Tziri, I'll be impressed if you are out of here that quickly! I'm hoping for Valentine's Day - I think that may be pushing it for me, but not completely out of the question so it's something to help keep my focus.

01-29-2013, 11:10 AM
Still sitting at 242. I'm hoping tomorrow will bring me a woosh present and I'll be teetering closer to the cusp of the 230's. Oh pretty please.

01-29-2013, 09:30 PM
247.4 officially! Yay! That also means I hit my 5% goal!

01-30-2013, 10:06 PM
I gained 1 lb this past week. Let's hope I've lost it when I do my weigh-in on Sunday. Blah.

01-30-2013, 10:42 PM
Finally made it around 244, come on last 4 lbs!
Grats to the losses. Here's hoping for a whoosh week!

I was 243 this morning, hoping for a little more before ticker-change Sunday. I would love to get to 242 so I can get my next 5 lb chickie but I'm not sure if that will happen, esp. because I'm going out to dinner on Sat. I've already planned what I'm having and it's completely on plan but restaurant food, you know?
