Default Eczema Flair Ups

Just curious if anyone has had any skin irritations that they think they can link to any of the IP packets. I'm starting to eat a lot of the same things and I am thinking perhaps some of this is related. Am I the only one?

I have had the same thing since day one. Funny thing is my hands cleared up but my face got worse?? I can tell the difference with the amount of oil I use.

Hyrysk, what a trade - to get one better the other suffers! Do you find it is using less or more oil that helps your overall skin?

More oil works better. I can deal with the face by using my daughters Proactive and it seems to keep it under control. The nice thing is flaking from my scalp is gone so I will gladly take the trade.

I was diagnosed yesterday with it and I've never had it before! I was like what the heck is with these rashy patches that keep moving locations on my torso that itch like crazy and nothing helps! My Derm prescribed something so I hope it helps! I wondered if it was the diet. Oh well, the results are worth putting up with the itching.

I will def try a little more oil! That makes sense, dry skin needs more moisture. Also, my scalp has cleared up too! Glad to know this is a diet that helps with that in general.

Wilky, I had slight-moderate eczema before IP but I agree, I am noticing it now in places it never was a problem before. I'm on my 17th week and I def have more flare ups and in different locations. My derm has me on a steriod ointment, so I hope your derm has you on something good that works too. Hopefully just adding a bit more oil will do the trick!

Wow, I'm so glad this was posted. I've noticed it too. Normally, I would have flare ups on my hands - they have gone away, but my scalp has gotten bad, and my elbows and behind one of my knees. Wierd.
