Mini rant, come to find out my scale all along has been showing that I'm 5ibs lighter than I really am. Irritating! I don't care that all this time I was 5ibs heavier than thought cause I'm still losing weight, dropping pant sizes, and getting healthier either way. The inaccuracy is what I find annoying. I'm weird I know! lol

When I realized it at first I wasn't happy at all. I wanted to scream. Than I reminded myself that I either way I still have lost 21ibs, 3 pant sizes, and gone down in a shirt size so far so I'm doing great. And sure it may add 5 more ibs to reaching my final goal weight but at the same time it adds 5 more ibs to my bragging rights. Instead of saying I lost 60ibs I can say I lost 65ibs. lol

Thankfully I'm starting this thing with TOM so I can get that mess out of the way. I'm already feeling like a bloated cow so I imagine the scale is going to reflect that as well. Also, I was pretty horrible this weekend, pretty much giving in to all my pre-TOM cravings for the first time in a long while. I'll have to make sure I'm extra good this week to counter all of that business.

Congrats to everyone for already starting the month out right, with a goal in mind and some determination to make it happen!

steph - isnt it the worst? my TOM completely stalls weight loss, and to make it worse there's never a *whoosh* the next week. its just like a week of nothing.

Still losing water weight, and it helps that I've been completely on plan since Sunday. And yesterday's on plan included pumpkin ice cream, lol, but I didn't like the dinner than I found on Pinterest, so... Ice cream it is! :lol:

So sad, lol.


ANYways, making pasta tonight so I don't know if I'll lose as much water weight as I have been recently, which is okay, since mmm, pasta. I'll make mine 1/2 zucchini pasta and 1/2 wheat to bulk it up without so many carbs and calories...

Holding at 158 (3rd day). I'm surprised I wasn't 765 pounds this morning, TOM has me feeling disgusting today. Honestly I have never ever felt so bloated and awful! I'm STILL adjusting to life off the pill. I went off when we were TTC our 2nd baby, March 2011 (got pregnant 1st cycle), and have been off since, so 9 months post baby, and I'm still trying to get used to my periods. It sucks! I only went off the pill 1 other time (to TTC our 1st baby, which took 7 months, and went right back on after she was born).

Hoping for post-TOM whoosh a couple days from now. Have been staying OP, so I don't see any reason why the scale shouldn't take a dive soon.

Ugh, I gained a pound back. But it's my own fault. After being sick through most of September I went back to being lazy and not keeping track of what I'm eating. But I did start walking again few days ago and today I'm going to get back to keeping track of what I'm eating. I'm determined to get to 159 by the 1st.

I'm joining in a little late. I was at 117 lbs. (almost at my goal of 110) and then I went on vacation in July. I gained 9 lbs and it still has not dropped after 2.5 months. I want to lose at least 4-5 lbs by November 1.

Well, I lost half a pound. Ugh this lack of motivation I've been having is not good at all. First 2 months of this weight loss I loved every bit of working towards weight loss. Now if this down pour we've been having lately would stop so I can go back to walking which I love than it'll be great. I can't wait until this rain season turns into snow season. I love walking in the winter and seeing all the pretty snow all over the ground and tress. Gorgeous!

My cycle just ended and I am glad the bloat is gone. I am not exercising at the moment because of my crazy work schedule (16-hour shifts, 6 days/week). I am just watching my food intake and cutting out most of the junk as best as I can.

My body has decided to park itself at 181 for the time being. My starting weight was 180, and I saw 179 for like a day, and now it's back to 181. Sigh.

I lowered my calorie limit down to 1370 and am gonna try to throw in another work out somewhere. Hopefully this will speed things along.

I'm only down a pound now since I gained 2.75 this week. :( Not sure what happened unless the 15 flights of stairs I recently started taking made me gain water/muscle. :dunno: But it's frustrating since I'm afraid it's going to throw off my New Year's challenge. :tantrum: Oh well, it's only my 6th gain of the entire year so I can't complain too much! Even if I don't make my goal I'm still going in the right overall direction. :angel:

I don't particularly like strength training but I am sticking with it. I work out twice a day. But still it doesn't feel like enough. It is like a feeling of wanting more! I want another pound this week. I want to be at 230 more than anything. Usually by then I am in 14/16. Ugggh! But still I am happy!

I'm so happy to see the scale moving down instead of up! 2 1/2 weeks to 7 1/2ibs. Yeah, I don't think that will happen but I can try to get as close as possible. And if I can get myself motivated to walk 5-7 days a week like I was first two months even without getting the 10 ibs gone by the 1st I'll be extremely happy with that!

Didn't lose any weight this week. I think I actually did, but I made a poor choice for dinner last night (greasy fast food) and now I think I'm holding onto some water. That wasn't very smart of me the night before my weigh in. :/ Oh, well I'm back on track today and hoping to be in the 170's next week!

Only one more weigh-in this month since we're taking Halloween off. Probably going out around then for my anniversary anyway . . . and even then I know I won't be tempted and that I'll make good choices. :lol:

Hmm . . . I'm sort of proud about that. Knowing that I'll be going out to eat for a special occasion and not worrying at all about being tempted by whatever's on the menu. :angel:

So I'm doing better than I thought I would this month. Didn't take my walk like I had planned today. Ended up spending it with family. Which is better than a walk since the family members I was with today I don't get to see often. And tomorrow I tend to walk and the next day and so on and so forth. Thankfully last few days there hasn't been any rain!

I gained a pound and half. But I'm still doing better than I thought I would be. And the rain is back and it decided to bring it's friend hail. I know remember why I hate this time of year in Michigan. I don't mind walking/jogging in the rain but having hail coming at you hurts! But I picked up a workout video the other day so I can do that when I can't walk/jog and whenever I'm bored at home (or cold during the winter!).

I reached my happy weight over the weekend but I havent weighed since tuesday as I'm trying a 'Twelve days, no scale' challenge so who knows if it was any better yesterday. Somehow I doubt it.
So october brought me an 8.5 lb loss. I was feeling bad about it since I havent lost much the past few weeks, but that's not too shabby!
