I just have the packet - no box - and I have no idea how to make it. Does anyone know? I'm at work with my shaker bottle and a microwave.
It's Day 2 and I have THE WORLD'S WORST HEADACHE. I just took an extra strenght Advil - It feels like someone is standing behind me punching me in the head with a mallet.
I haven't had the Chicken a la King but regarding the headaches - that could be a combination of carb withdrawal and not enough salt. Make sure you are drinking LOTS of water (to eliminate dehydration as the cause), and try putting a little salt on your hand and licking it off. I had to do that the first few days myself (headaches and a little dizziness) - I ended up adding some salt to a small glass of water and just chugging it down - it was gross, but I felt better within an hour.

I had to this and now I add salt to my water bottle everytime I fill it up just to make sure I am getting enough each day. The headaches and the withdrawls go away- just stick with it.
put the required amount of water, let it set for about 1-2 mins before cooking so that the water plumps up the veggies, cook for the required time, then let it set for another min or 2 so that it thickens

I think the issue is that she doesn't have the box - so no idea what the required amount of water and cooking times are. It's one of the biggest problems I have with IP - they don't print the cooking instructions on the packets, only the box. So anything I don't have a box for, I have to guess at the preparation instructions
I buy all of of my IP by the packets, not the box, and the packets all have the directions on the back on the bottom in very small print. I usually have to get out my reading glasses to see it, but it's there!

I thought that too until yesterday when I got a package of Chili out and there were no directions on the packet at all! I had to go searching for the printed sheet my clinic gave me back in December that has instructions for several of the products on it. I DID finally find it but it took me a while...LOL!
