Default Tomorrow is Day 1 - having another panic attack LOL

I've never been so stressed out over a diet before and I've been on a million of them. This one has zero room for error and I feel like I have to have it all planned perfectly.

I have an ultrasound tomorrow morning (due to some abdominal pain I had once) at 8:00 am and have to fast for that, so I can't eat before I get into the office around 9:00 - and I always need coffee before food.

I also have my last session with my personal trainer at 3:00 tomorrow, so I have to make sure I get through that, but she said it would be an easy one, and my coach said I can have 4 packets tomorrow if I need to.

So, how is this looking:

9:00 - 10:00:
1-2 coffees with Splenda and IP vanilla drink (few TBs)

10:30:
IP cereal

12:00:
canned tuna in salad with 1 cup green vegies (what can I put on this to give it some flavour - I don't have any WF products yet), IP soup

2:30
IP chocolate pudding

3:00 - 5:00 (yes that's right - 2 hour workout)
IP bar during workout

6:30
5 ounce chicken with 2 cups stir fried vegies

Looks pretty good - are you planning to split up your protein and have some at lunch and some at dinner? If so just make sure you only have about 3 oz of the tuna at lunch so that you TOTAL 8 oz per day.

The only other thing I'd suggest is swapping the time you have the IP pudding and the bar. Bars are restricted (higher in carbs) and if you have it before your workout your body will be able to use those carbs for energy. As long as you have your 4th packet within 1/2 hour after working out you'll be fine - no need to have it in the middle of your workout.

WHEW!!!! Thanks - I was afraid of doing somethibg wrong, that's a relief. Is there anything I can put on the tuna salad as a dressing - dry tuna and vegies sounds pretty awful.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can try Rainbow's homemade mayo in her Mix'n in the Kitch'n thread. If you like spicy stuff, you can use hot mustard. I have mixed mine with a little EVOO (maybe 1 tsp, just enough to moisten it), salt, pepper, and herbs.

you will do just fine! I have found that having it planned out and with no room for error, helps me know that I am doing it RIGHT! and that I will be SUCCESFUL! I usually go to my clinic on Mondays, and then plan out my meals for the whole week. That way I dont have to think!
I too, have done the million diet thing...but so far I am down 10 inches and 13 pounds! I have never been more excited to step on a scale!

Good Luck

My husband LOVES relish in his tuna. I'm not sure we can have relish, but what about dill pickles chopped into it? I also would totally NOT stress as that is goign to be the worse thing you can do. I found a Renees no fat italian "TUSCAN" dressing that's comparable to WF. If you have to have a dressing and don't want to make a homemade one, a wee bit o' italian dressing would be fine till you get your WF dressings or make your own.

Again -- don't stress! The stress will retain your weight more than you using a wee bit of dressing

.... just my humble opinion...

I have never spent so long on food prep in my life - chopping all those vegies and thinking and rethinking it all - I'm EXHAUSTED!!!! LOL!!!

I decided to skip the tuna for lunch and just have the IP soup and the salad - much to my surprise I made a delicious dressing with olive oil, lemon juice, white vinegar, a little spenda and fresh garlic - YUM!!!!!

I am going to look that mayo up though - I just can't imagine tuna without mayo.

Thanks again everyone - you guys are the best!!!

Cause it is complicated LOL!!! it's also because there is no margin for error and needing to get into and stay in ketosis. With other diets a slip up isn't that bad - with this one it's brutal.

And sooooo many things aren't allowed - you have to rethink every single thing you thought you knew about eating.

no pain, no gain my friends! But this time it's reverse -- a bit of pain (in the butt planning) = no gain, and BIG LOSING!

Worth it 100%

Don't stress yourself out about it - the formula for success is actually very simple:

Every day, eat
3 packets (2 unrestricted and 1 restricted)
4 cups of veggies from the approved list
8 oz lean protein
2 tsp olive oil
supplements and salt

It might seem overwhelming at first, especially if you're not used to planning ahead. But once you get the hang of it, you'll be fine! Everyone here is willing and able to help you with anything that might get in your way from success. Follow your sheet, ask lots of questions, and DON'T STRESS!

You will do great! And trust me it does get easier. I am horrible at remembering my supplements so have put them in a pill dossette and that seems to help. Also, the dressing you mentioned, is one that I use almost everyday...I love it.
Cheers to your first day and many more...

I found that one of the things easy about this diet is that it is so restrictive. Don't get me wrong it freaked me out at first but easy with family to fit in for family supper. (teenage boy and husband)

The hard part is the first week and emotional eating changes. Just keep coming back to this forum and you will find all the support you need to do this. I have never seen such great results anywhere else or such supportive people!
