Default Ground beef prep??

So on my sheet it says ground beef is allowed but at the top of the sheet it says no frying? I have no idea how else to prepare ground beef?? You don't have to add oil or anything - I was just going to fry it with green peppers and celery and garlic - is this OK?

As always I'm open to suggestions.

yes that is fine...lol...frying as in using cooking oil and such is not allowed. You can pan fry your chicken, beef, fish or shrimp, Just use EVOO or the Olive oil spray.

I make a patty and put it under the broiler and flip over once one side is done. Makes a lot of the fat drip off as well.

My George Forman grill is the best for making hamburger and all the fat drains off!

Alton Brown's Baked Meatball recipe. I haven't made it yet, but I want to (sans bread crumbs). It looks good.

I make lean ground chicken, lean ground turkey, and extra lean ground beef meat balls (though without the bread crumbs they sometimes come out drier then I would like) and these are prefect on the go protein I find with a salad if I have a long day at work and can't cook something fresh. I bake them all in the oven on a cookie sheet.
