Default birthday cake!!

So today was my birthday, and I decided when I was out later that I was going to buy a cake mix, and to heck with it. I plan out my calories for the day, so instead of having my snack later and I would eat a little less at dinner I was going to make a cake and have a piece after dinner to celebrate. Its my birthday im allowed to do what I want!!

.......

.......

Well... after a few days of no junk food, honestly, the cake tasted like crap. and I know how to bake. Was not interested at all. My husband doesnt want any either... so I threw out an entire cake plus my half eaten slice!

So proud of myself!!! Of course I hate wasting food, but I am still so proud. Plus Id rather throw it out and waste it rather than it end up on my waist.

Just had to celebrate a bit!!! Im a carbaholic so to not eat sweets is difficult.

Happy birthday! My mom would kill me if I threw out an entire cake. She would rather eat it and get fat than throw it away. Good for you for making the right choice!

My aunt came over today with a birthday cake for my dad's birthday (it was last week) and she guilt tripped me into having a piece. It was sickeningly sweet. I was trying hard not to gag in front of my aunt who spent 2 days making it. After I ate it, I asked her what was in it because I wanted to figure out the calories and I was shocked. It was made with heavy whipping cream, cream cheese, cake mix, sugar, eggs and marshmallows all topped with cream cheese frosting. No wonder I felt sick while eating it. I have no idea how many calories it was so I skipped supper and had a small snack around 7 so I wouldn't get too hungry tonight. I hope I didn't go too far over my calories.

Ohhhh God.... I can't believe you wasted all that.... Even though yeah, it's better to have not eaten it, surely there was someone you could've given it to, just because, or something...
But anyway, I hope you had a happy birthday! I bet it's nice that cake doesn't appeal to you anymore, in its own way!

Today is my birthday, and rather than have junk I'm treating it just like any other day with one small difference; I made myself some super healthy and extremely delicious chocolate chocolate chip and peanut butter pancakes for breakfast.

I dont really live where I know anyone, so giving it away wasnt really an option, and my husband doesnt eat sweets either now.
I would have loved to give it away.
